Been living here for 3 months in a 1B1B. My personal opinion is that at Eastline Grand, you get what you pay for, but it's certainly not a bargain deal. The units are new, with brand-new and quality appliances, large in-unit washer and dryer, floor-to-ceiling windows, the option for in-unit A/C on the higher floors, and nice and new amenities like working pods and meeting rooms. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Downtown Redmond (the 545 to Seattle is literally right across the street). The utilites costs so far have been reasonable. I have friends who live in nearby apartments who are definitely getting ripped off in comparison. Also, in my experience, the staff and management have been extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. The move-in process was simple and smooth, the management staff have always helped me whenever I reached out, and maintenance is timely and responsive. I'd love to give a special shoutout to David, a member of the apartment staff, who has gone above and beyond to assist me in crises. He has given me confidence that Eastline tenants are in good hands. The two cons are the rent and parking fee, both of which are on the higher end. I believe the rent is mostly justified by the reasons listed above, and I do feel like I'm getting my money's worth, but definitely not a bargain. The parking fee is excessive, but the one saving grace is that it's double gated so I'm not as concerned about a break-in. I've also heard other residents complain about street noise, but my unit faces the inner courtyard and I've never heard any street noise aside from the rare siren. I suggest a courtyard-facing unit for those that are...
Read moreEdit 2: It's been over a month and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND OF A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS. The check has never been sent out! This entire property management company deserves to be sued.
Edit: I've since moved out and talked to many who also moved out after their 1-year lease ended, for similar reasons as exorbitant prices for what you get. My final utilities bill was just bizarre. I had been consistently charged over $100 just for common use utilities (and then pay my own electric meter separately), which my friends living at other places in Redmond assure me they don't. It's absurd.
Current resident of 6 months. The biggest issue with this building is the exorbitantly high prices paid for rent and parking space ($225/mo for regular, and $275 for EV - not to mention all other utility fees), and yet the walls and flooring are so thin you can literally hear people walking in the hallways, use their sink garbage disposal through your bedroom, and all manners of disturbance. +$200/month if you desire to be on the 7th floor so you don't have to hear people above you, but god forbid you have a loud neighbor next to you.
I have contacted management multiple times regarding people's violation of quiet hours, and received no reply. It frankly makes little sense to be paying this much and not be able to...
Read moreEastline is a new building with a nice atmosphere, unfortunately when you come to a new building you think that everything will be wonderful, I was wrong to think so, I have many complaints that I will mention: the main doors of the entire building do not have a button for people with disabilities, they are not inclusive and make it difficult for people and babies to enter, on the 2nd floor where the study rooms and an amenity are, there is no air conditioning, the amenity on the 3rd floor closes automatically at 10pm, we are limited like school children. I live on the 3rd floor and in the afternoon and into the evening the whole hallway smells like marijuana. Above my apartment you can hear all the movement, especially in the early morning. They walk very fast and move heavy things that they drop, it seems like they are exercising with weights. My most important complaint is that the barbecue area is not open. People are always damaging that part of the patio. They have lost a lot of recreational space by placing plants. There is a fairly considerable space in the plant area. With so many apartments in the building, they should take that great detail...
