I started taking my Chihuahua Mix here a few weeks ago and am so grateful for the piece of mind Pickles Playland has given me. I was initially very nervous about daycare as my pup is a 1 year old rescue who missed out on key socialization milestones as a puppy. As a result he is very anxious around strangers and other dogs. He usually shuts down and cowers or can be reactive. From his behavioral analysis to his daycare sessions the staff have been super patient with him and have allowed him to get more comfortable at his own pace. When I got a report that he actually played a bit with another dog last week I was so happy. Though he's not dancing with joy when I drop him off I can tell how he's slowly warming up. From the fear and terror on day one to the happy prance this last time I picked him up is a reflection of the staff's dedication to the well being of the dogs here. I can count on Pickles to trust he is in good hands. EDIT ~6 weeks post initial review: My little guy is excited for daycare now!!! It's truly amazing to observe the change in him. He has a regular group of friends, plays with other dogs, and is more at ease being handled by the staff. We took the Canine Good Behavior class with Pickles as well and it was a great experience. All the positive socialization changes are noticeable in his temperament outside of daycare. Truly grateful to Pickles! I feel like I have a...

Edit: So they finally responded as a reply here after a few months and I’ve still gotten no apology for the rude experience. Instead they choose to lie about the situation and continue to attack me personally rather than taking any accountability. I was not screaming, and I didn’t even visit this location. I simply called trying to understand what is going on and how I can get my refund since they cancelled the event without notice. I’m not sure what is going on with this business but the consistency in their rudeness and just straight up aggression towards customers really baffles me. I don’t understand why they have to choose to be so nasty towards customers rather than communicating and problem solving. I’m just genuinely confused at the fact that such a company culture can exist in the service industry…

Bad customer service and the employees are extremely rude - do not come here.

I booked Dog Yoga at Pickles in Issaquah but it was canceled when I showed up. I was redirected to an employee at the Redmond location when I called to try and understand what was going on. When I said I couldn’t make the new time and asked for a refund, the employee at this location said “I didn’t invite you” and hung up on me. First of all this is such a weird thing to say. You had this as a public event. Secondly, this is such an immature and incompetent way to handle the situation.

Overall such a...

I was very apprehensive sending my fur baby in the hands of strangers. She has only been with me as a pup. I was even having a bit of anxiety. First day was tough for me and my pup. She looked back at me as if to say " your coming right mom"? I just smiled " it's ok girl, go play, I will be back soon to pick you up". LOL!!! I picked her up and she was happy and looked great! She was so tired, she tried so hard to keep her eyes open, LOL eventually she passed out from her fun day at Pickles!!! Now, she doesn't even look back when I drop her off. She is so excited to go play with friends and get treats and have a great time with all the activities they have here. Staff is really great with her and even remember my name when I drop her off. She is always happy when I pick her up and she never smells bad or has any weird marks or issues. I feel really lucky to have Pickles right by my job and that they are the most coolest caring people taking care of my fur baby! I totally recommend bringing your doggo here, Oh and the other dogs are...

We've been taking our dog to Pickles regularly since she was 3 months old. It's the only place we trust and enjoy bringing her to that we drive in traffic for about 40mins just to drop her off. Most dogs would come home dirty and smelly from daycare, but Lia doesn't and she's always knocked out tired after a day there. They do more than just the bare minimum of keeping your dog occupied in daycare, but also make sure they are taught good manners during their stay and they share good information and tips to owners. They offer a lot of options like grooming, barkery, training during their stay, and a lot more fun stuff for your pup! I could go on and on for all the things we appreciate/love about this place but I'll end it here. We're very excited for Lia to celebrate her first birthday at her favorite place with all of her friends!

I have to recommend Pickles Playland’s puppy hour to everyone!! If you have a puppy, you have to try the puppy hour at Pickles. We have a baby corgi (side note: you all know how they can be sassy but definitely cute). Although we have started socialization them since day 1, he still dislike some people and of course try to bark and herd every dog during play. I guess, they would call it social awkwardness in human. We started to send him to puppy hour along with private training with our favorite Nikki and saw HUGE improvement. He learned how to play like a puppy instead of bossing around! Bonus point from going to Pickles Playland: we get cute report cards with extremely cute and funny comments every week. I put all the report cards on my fridge and will cherish them forever!!

I’ve been taking Uber to Pickles ever since she was a wee pup. Now Uber is 2 years old, we only stopped going because we moved away from Redmond. Really wish we had a Pickles in Seattle! I love that they have a schedule during daycare. There are times during pickup where the lights are off, the structured downtime definitely helped Uber relax at home too. They host cute events like movie time and massage days. I opted into nail and bath services frequently, and she always comes home looking great. Never smells like dog either. Note that they don’t do daycare on Saturdays and Sundays, but I believe they do board. Uber always comes home happy and tired, and I can tell that the staff genuinely enjoyed her presence as well. We’ll miss Pickles, it’s a great daycare.
