Snyder's Candy — Local services in Rehoboth Beach

Forget Candy Kitchen, forget even Dolle's--and I know that's sacrilege in DE but it's the truth. Snyder's is THE BEST TAFFY in Delaware, probably the best I've ever had. So many rich, distinct flavors, and new ones coming out all the time. They always have the tried and true--chocolate, vanilla, mint, cherry, etc. But this year I've tried chili mango, carrot cake, pineapple-guava-passionfruit, red licorice, and even pickle flavors!

They also have dispensers for pretty much every jelly bean flavor ever created, and some wonderful house-made chocolates. I greatly appreciate their sugar-free chocolates as well. They're some of the only ones that haven't tasted super fakey to me. Love especially the sugar-free almond toffee bark.

Can't forget of course the fun, kitschy toys and the amazing collection of vintage/hard to find candy, and jelly fruit slices and gummies--they've really got it all. Come support this awesome small business. They are candy artisans who have absolutely nailed...

Best candy shop in Rehoboth! I have gone every year since I was a little girl on vacation and my mom would take us there for 25 cent Cokes. I continued to go there every year and took my kids when they were old enough. The owner is so sweet, he used to give my daughter a chocolate gold coin when we checked out because he was impressed by her behavior and never had to worry about her sticking her hands in the bins. They have a huge selection of Pez and Ty stuffed animals. The fudge is amazing, nonparrels and chocolate covered pretzels rods were my favorite. Giant peanut butter cups are so rich and chocolatey. Snyder's Candy is one of our two favorite stops in Rehoboth, with the other being Browseabout Books. If you are looking for taffy, licorice, and hard to find candies this is the place to stop. I always stock up on Choward's Guava candies, Wilhelmina mints, Tropical Necco wafers, and Winegums. I also grab an assortment of Hi-Chew flavors for good measure.
