Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Ross Township

Let's start from beginning (Note: son is 6 ft 5 in , 285 lbs ) Go to men's wearhouse to order tux for son's prom and the 17 year old kid that comes out dosnt even measure his waist just asks "what size pants do you wear ?" He Does measure his shoulders and arms and chest but that's it. I told the young man at the store " I want the vest and the jacket 3 inches longer since he is tall !" He seemed irritated at the request and said "when he comes back to try on they can make adjustments!" I should have realized that was the 1st red flag since I couldn't be there for that fitting. I pay $200 for the rental and leave it in their hands. Son goes to try it on , (My son is non confrontational ) He sent me a picture with it on and from an iPhone photo it looked fine (note: jacket was buttoned) Prom day he puts it on ... Pants are 2 inches to short you can see his socks and too tight, he puts on vest it is 2 inches to SHORT ! The Jacket (note: The ONLY thing the kid measured fits GREAT !) He goes to get his $30 rented shoes out of bag and , NO SOCKS ! I don't show my outrage to my son befor he leaves for prom he was nervous enough as it was, we do a few tugs and pulls and he has great friends that wouldn't criticize and he goes off to prom.

So in conclusion if you are in need of a tuxedo for ANYTHING DO NOT GET IT AT MEN'S WEARHOUSE ! WE WILL NEVER BE RETURNING THERE ! RENT IT FROM A TUXEDO RENTAL STORE THAT DOES JUST TUXEDO'S !!!! The last thing you want for a wedding is this type of nonsense , you want it to be right not a "we will make it work !" situation. I hope this review helps those looking to rent a tuxedo...

Took forever to get helped, by forever I mean 30 minutes....Had to ask for help multiple times, seems they only had one or two employees working on a weekend in the month of June when a lot of weddings take place.

Store wasn't super crowded or out of the ordinary, maybe a handful of shoppers with a majority of them getting tuxes which was on the other side of the store with a specific employee that handles those.

When we finally did get help it felt rushed, and like the employee was trying to hurry up to get back with other customers. Which I can understand to a degree, but don't make me feel rushed. Getting fitted for a very special occasion (wedding), which was voiced and having that experience was very upsetting. It was a mood kill for sure.

This was my second time ever shopping at Men's Warehouse, and it was the same store the first time. My first experience was great back in 2018 which is why I decided to go again. However, after this last experience I don't think I will go back again.

With the amount of money these suits cost and me driving over an hour and a half to give this store my business over everywhere else. I'm very unhappy, and hope that the store takes reviews seriously and either hires more people or at least limit the amount of customers coming in so the customer gets the experience they deserve given the money they are dropping on...

I went in there to return a jacket and pants today, because to my knowledge at the time I could return any item within 90 days for whatever reason. I double checked their website to confirm. The manager(?) Mark immediately got tense with me about the condition of the jacket. Acting like I had given him a jacket with spilt food all over it. At worst, it had a flattened out crease mark. I asked about the return policy not saying anything about being worn. Then he really started to come undone. He proceeded to be short with me saying “We don’t rent clothes here” I assume in a way to try to embarrass and shame me. They do though, I’ve rented many a tuxedo from this same store. I don’t see an issue returning a jacket that’s not destroyed. I did not raise my voice or press the issue past the “it doesn’t clearly state that anywhere”. Now if you do some digging, you can find an asterisk about worn clothes are under managers discretion. Just a shame Mark couldn’t be calm explaining that to me. I’m a reasonable person, I would’ve understood. He must’ve had a tough day. Only reason I’m giving it two stars is because I had great experiences with the staff before when I got my wedding tuxes from there. And for my friends and brothers wedding.
