Congress Street Market — Local services in Salem

I don't go here often... a few reasons.. the prices are more than any other convenient store.. I don't know why the board of Health hasn't paid them a visit.. think they should.. the place is dirty , half the floor is missing.. the employees are rude and well most of their customers are as well.. the fruit and vegetables are always rotten.. picked up a moldy tomato 🍅 a leaking green peppers.. you get it.. 99.99% their milk is expired.. I accidentally bought a chocolate milk there and it had expired 5 days before.. I no I forgot to check.. was a really bad day.. but their suppose to be on top of that .. I picked up a few boxes covered in dust... ummm that's disgusting... if you like rotten expired dusty food go...

Ok,despite the fact that the ONLY one who's NOT racist(towards white WOMEN) is the guy who owns it! I've lived in the area for about five years now,and I only buy things there when I forgot something at the supermarket, as well as when we need beer and four locos...the fruit is usually bad..especially during the summer,the fruit flies swarm the area where the fruits are,and the vegetables??...forget it..smh...if it's not pre-packaged, don't even waste your time! The owners,I think its his mother...shes got be the most rude person I've come across! when I first moved here,she absolutely refused to even...

I love it here. The staff are super friendly .... Idk what else to say. They dont have much for stock. Its all very scattered around and not very organized. And the prices are a pinch high...i started with a four star now im debating a 3 . i love you guys . you always make me feel welcome . but the store could be neater. Ill fix it up for free .......
