Visited a charming magical shop in salem called New England Magic shoppe.
When i entered the shop i was immediately drawn in by the energy. The vibe made me feel compelled to look around. I was looking for crystal balls that could be a perfect souvenir for my friend. All over Salem’s town shops I searched with the equal desperation of the Sanderson hocus pocus sisters sniffing out children, but my efforts were foiled by crystal balls that cost between $80- $800 😱 I don’t carry around that kind of money so sadly every store I went to was met with crushing disappointment. 😩 However my friend Andrea exclaimed, “these crystal balls are perfect for your friend!” I was compelled to take a picture and my phone camera of course decided to rat me out with a loud snapping picture sound. I was absolutely mortified and almost dropped my phone from embrassment. A loud voice from the front said “no taking pictures!” To which I hastily exclaimed “oh sorry I didn’t know I’ll delete it at once!!” But as I did a warm voice from the back said “omg you’re so cute! for you I’ll make an exception. I’ll let you take all the pictures you want of my crystal balls!” She went on to show me some of the balls and I pointed toward an especially charming cute crystal ball on a gold elegant stand that caught my eye. “I want this one please!” The owner named Joanna said “perfect Choice that’s $40 and the stand is seperate but for you since I love your wholesome energy I’ll give it free no tax if you pay cash!” I forked up cash from my wallet and thanked her for her generosity and said my friend will love it so much! I’ll leave a positive review on Google!” After she wrapped up the crystal ball with stand for me she showed me her daughter’s drawings she was selling. She is very talented. I hope her daughter will do well with the store website featuring her art that will soon be created. I’d love to buy some soon!
I am a bit belated now in revealing my impression of the store that captivated my attention but better late than never! I’d definitely come back again to buy some more cool magical art or magical items to support this magical and...
Read moreMy friend and I went here on our recent trip to Salem. Had to wear a mask ok im fine with that they may be at a health risk. Here is my issue and it is partly on myself for not knowing more but when someone comes in and you tell them you are selling them a clear crystal ball then sell them a clear crystal ball. Upon coming home my "crystal" ball is now purple no longer clear. Why is this??? After reaching out to some witchy friends and doing some research I find out I was sold a K9 photography ball. Now can it still be used for scrying possibly im still researching but to know and then not inform your customers of this specific information in my eyes is an out right lie.
Now my friend found a necklace that called to her and she loves it however sadly this is my review and my advice for people planning on spending their money.... DONT there are much better shops with better ethics. And for the shop owner maybe you should list your store as both a metaphysical shop and a photography accessory shop. You know to be honest...
Read moreBuyer Beware! Items in this shop are overpriced. We went this week to do some shopping and were interested in a small pendant. When we asked her to see it, she told us it was priced at $120, then "because it's a real sapphire" $125, "but I can knock it down to $112". We passed and actually went with a small ring for $45, "but that tag should say $60, but oh well". After getting back to the hotel, we went looking for other sellers of these same items and all other sellers had them priced at HALF the cost. The pendant was also a lab created sapphire which is cheaper than an authentic one. Overall, go to this place to look, but buy what you want...
