I am now OBSESSED with this Barre3. If you’re looking for lower impact but still highly effective workouts, a beautiful studio, amazing staff, and new workout buddies, this is your place! My whole life I have struggled to strengthen my core. With the help of the instructors and their many options to modify, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been in my life!
I have spoken to and seen members who have MS, paralysis in certain limbs, and other physical differences that get an amazing workout that is safe and beneficial for them just like anyone else.
The instructors don’t talk about getting a “nicer body” or being “perfect” with every move, but focus on how every move is developed purposefully to improve functionality (get up stairs, lift objects, and even catch ourselves before we lose balance) and how it’s all about progress from wherever we are starting out. Every studio should narrate classes this way.

It’s a woman owned, beautifully designed modern studio that includes showers with luxury products, child care, and a locally sourced boutique. The front desk staff is very welcoming. The barre3 workouts themselves are intense and rewarding with high rep positions focusing on core, legs, arms and cardio.The instructors suggests modifications for every skill type. The studio is a safe judgement free place where everyone is welcome. All classes end with mindful breath work where they turn the lights low and you rest in a comfortable position (typically laying on your back on a yoga mat). I've cycled through the entire gamut of exercise classes and have never felt as physically or mentally strong as I do now after taking two consistent years of classes at Barre3. Each class is balanced with a focus on strength, cardio, and mindfulness. The impact is low, and the intensity is high - it's challenging, and you can make it work for everyone with modifications and so many different options to honor your body. The studio owner, Katie, is incredible and has dedicated so much time, love, and energy into making this space welcoming, empowering, and somewhere you WANT to be and keep coming back to.
