I wish I could give fewer than one star. My friend set up a suit rental for his wedding. There were about eight of us that got fitted months ago. When getting fitted, the customer service seemed decent. There was one older lady that was curtly. Other than that, it wasn't anything memorable for the most part. Once I get the call to pick up the suit, the same lady was there to help, although her attitude was much worse. She was demanding & seemed like she just wanted us to get out of there so she can be in a bad mood alone. On top of that, my pants weren't adjusted to the correct size. Luckily, they have adjustable straps to where I was able to make them fit properly. I spoke with he other grooms men & every single person had something wrong with their suit. One friend's jacket was too tight on the chest area & too loose on the arms. They told him that it's a rental & that he shouldn't expect a perfect fit. That makes getting fitted gratuitous. Another friend who wears an XL shirt got a Medium shirt & they charged him extra to get the correct size. When it comes to the groom, his suit was so erroneously tailored that nothing fit properly & he had to get an entirely different suit elsewhere. These suits were also extremely cheap. The most notable thing about the suit was the shoes. They were like wearing plastic shoes that had no give. On top of that, the shoes had no traction. I know dress shoes aren't going to have traction like sneakers, but this is a safety concern. When out on the dance floor, I ended up getting injured because I kept sliding around while trying to dance. I'm still recovering which is a bummer for me because I am an avid runner & can't run right now. Upon returning the suit, the same lady was rude again. We walk in and she tells me to hang up the suit on the rack over there. I am the customer. I should not be having to do the job of the employees. She wasn't with any other customers, she just came across as lazy & rude. I will never go back to this Men's Warhorse again & suggest the same for anyone else. This was the worst experience in renting a suit. Men's Wearhouse has lost eight customers, not to mention everyone we will warn...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday was a sad day. Iāve been using MW since 1997 and have used them all over the country. Iāve kept going back because the clothes are great quality, and the customer service has always been top notch, even over bearing a few times over the years. They always worked with me towards a solution when a tough clothing issue arose, like finding the right size or style.
Today, I went in this location for a sport coat. I own many from MW. Iām a big guy (huge shoulders and chest, former college athlete) so sometimes I have to compromise on style or price but always leave happy. As always I was greeted upon entry by a middle-age woman with a measuring tape around her neck. I told her what I was looking for and she asked what size I wore. I mentioned as always, they could look it up as I was last there in 2021 for the same items. She appeared surprised but decided to take my measurements instead.
I wear a 54L and as she walked to the computer to look up my size, she said āso youāve probably gotten bigger since then, right?ā My wife and I looked at each other because of the bizarre comment and replied, āno, Iām the same size.ā At this point, she said they just sent all of their āB&T clothes back to the factory.ā Then, she walked away, offering no options until we asked if another store might have my size. She said āthereās a DXL store across the street that has big and tall clothes.ā
I noticed a pair of jeans on sale, bought those, and left. I couldnāt believe the horrible, insulting service weād just received from a MW! They built their empire on affordable quality and customer service. Apparently, like everywhere else post-pandemic, MW decided to hire associates with little clothing knowledge, and even less customer satisfaction skills. Really...
Read moreLet me begin by saying this was the worst part of planning my wedding. We called ahead to make an appointment for my fiancé and his 5 groomsmen to get fitted of course I took myself and some of my bridal party so I could make a decision on what suit went best with my bridesmaid gowns. We walked in and went straight to the fitting area. The first problem was that myself (the bride) and my bridal party were standing next to the woman in charge of wedding rentals who said "just give them standard fittings they wont be actually buying anything they don't even have colors chosen." my maid of honor corrected the misinformed woman to let her know that in fact we did have our colors chosen and had every intention of renting suits here. It only got worse from there. The same woman (Short, white, and blonde with no name tag.) stuck around for all of 3 minutes before she said loud enough for myself (the bride!!) to hear "I'm getting out of all this mess I will be up front." I understand I am young and that my fiancé along with most of his groomsmen look a little rough because they are welders but a business should never treat anyone with such disrespect no matter who walks through the door you should be courteous and helpful rather than judgmental and right out rude. It would have been one thing to have an opinion and keep quiet but to voice such rude comments. I wish there would have been any other option for us that all our groomsmen could have used sadly this is the only place available across 3 states I am never recommending this business to anyone else and I seriously hope that they do not treat all customers with such...
