I promised Jesse that I would write a review and I'm glad that I didn't promise him that the review would be done quickly. I was visiting San Diego with my boys for spring break this past March and I desperately needed shoes that would assist me in standing on my feet all day. I read reviews about this place and about the service and I was quite skeptical before I walked in that it would meet my expectations or would live up to its reputation. Thankfully, I was absolutely mistaken and was extremely elated to find out that both Jessie, the amazing guest services concierge and the ambience exceeded my expectations. I ended up buying not only the Hoka brand of shoes as seen in my picture but also a pair of Birkenstocks that I desperately wanted. The ability to empathize and collaborate with clients is a rare quality and it definitely exists in this shop and I will highly recommend it to anyone who either visits San Diego or wants shoes shipped from here. My wife and I came in with only a few minutes until closing and Jesse, the person minding the store, could not have been more gracious and assured us it was fine. He then proceeded to show us the GREAT selection of Birkenstock, Olukai, Teva and many others. In the midst of all that, he notices that someone took shoes from their outdoor display and sprints out the door after them! He chased them down and to the applause of hundreds of onlookers, recovered the shoes. As Jesse pointed out, its sad because there store so strongly supports local charities by not only giving away shoes, but also helping to fit shoes for homeless folks that have physical disabilities or just too shy to ask for help. On top of all this, he gave me and my wife a wonderful discount on two pairs of Olukai flip flops. May we have a 10 stars rating? :) That's what this store deserves! Sole Concepts Store is hands down my favorite store in San Diego. Not only does it offer a thoughtfully curated selection of high-quality shoes and accessories in a cozy, inviting space, but the customer experience is truly unparalleled—thanks to Jesse.

From the very first time I visited, Jesse’s warm and helpful attitude stood out.
