I wish I could say good things about this company. I really NEEDED to have a good experience with them, however, aside from the Dr herself (who I loved), the entire experience with them has been problematic from the get-go. I was prescribed anti-depressants for low grade depression following menopause. Instead of refilling these automatically, or giving a few refills, you have to manually go into the system (which is very hard to access on your phone), request a refill and then wait 5 - 7 days for the refill to process. In the early days of using this service, I didn't know that (as I assumed I had refills like most other dr's would have given). Sadly, since I didn't know this, my rx was delayed many days and I had to ask the pharmacist to give me some interim medication so that I didn't have a gap of days with no prescription. Not useful or helpful when your medication is for depression. When I called to ask for a quick prescription refill, the girl at the front desk told me it was up to when the dr had time to process the refill, and that, unfortunately took a few days before I had a refilled prescription. This is the process EVERY month with them.
Now, today I go to ask for a prescription refill (5 days prior to my meds being out) and they tell me that I'm at the 6 month mark which requires an appointment with the dr before they can refill my prescription - and guess what? There are no days open within the next 5 days and also the cost of that appointment is $300. No prior mention that at the 6 month mark I would need an appointment for check in - no mention of that until the END of my prescription. Very unprofessional way to handle clients.
So....in short - if you want a way to get meds that SEEMS easy and helpful because its online, this is not the place for you. If you want to feel like you have to do the work for 2 people each month to get your prescriptions, go ahead and use them.
My dr was very nice on the phone - I do not believe this is a dr issue, but simply an issue with the way their platform and procedures for refilling prescriptions works. Its way more complex and arduous than need be. I do not recommend them, and will not be renewing my "subscription" or term of...
Read moreAn incredibly disheartening experience. This was to be my first session with MindBloom. Upon my arrival (I’m four minutes early) the reception area was unattended, so I was not greeted or checked in by anyone. I sat in the lobby for several minutes by myself. Silence. Breathe in. Breathe out. “Be patient”, I tell myself. They’re with a patient. Seven minutes after my scheduled appointment time the provider comes out from the back wearing a baseball cap (?) she is NOT escorting a patient out. Without introducing herself asks who I am. I tell her I am the 1o’clock appointment and she immediately says, “I have a student here to observe, will that be a okay?” I reply, “No, it won’t”. I feel she is somewhat taken aback. I tell her I have been waiting for several minutes and she replies that she is the only person there. Mind you , there are fourteen people listed as staff on their website. It’s pretty obvious she has not read my intake forms. She tells me to “take a deep breath”. I tell her I have been…for nine minutes. I say, “I think I should find someone else”. She says, “Yeah, I think you should”. Her name is RomiLynn Danko. She was the absolute worst ambassador MindBloom could offer. Cavalier, unprofessional, unapologetic and rude. I pity the...
Read moreI found Mind Bloom at a really difficult point in my life and my experience with them has been incredible. Everyone I’ve spoken to on the staff has been kind and polite, and my experience with Dr.Danko had been the most positive experience I’ve had in 15+ years of therapy and what feels like dozens of attempted medications that had never helped and Dr.s that did not mesh well with me. Now I’m finally on medications that actually work for me, and thanks to her I’ve had such a complete turn around and finally have the ability to live my life inside of drowning in overwhelm, anxiety and trauma. I’m writing again, I’m gardening again, I’m a better and more calm and patient parent and partner, I’m sleeping again. And it’s thanks in big part to the support I’ve received from Dr.Danko, she’s even gone as far as advocated for me with Pharmacists to ensure I get my refills on time and is always willing to listen to find the best treatment options. I trust her, and I don’t trust lightly. I’ve referred friends and family to Mind Bloom, because as someone with medical trauma, finding an office where you are treated with dignity and respect and listened to is honestly rare. I can’t recommend them enough,...
