Perfect size, lots of great plant-based food options, delicious baked goods, fresh greens, nuts, produce and flowers. Fair prices right size I feel like Goldilocks. It’s not too big not too small.

My three favorite eating places are the vegan sushi, uprising, vegan pizza, and the fabulously new to me, vegan Mexican food at Flavor Lab including vegan tripe. And fishless tacos. They are so good. And I always get vegan rolls.

For the non-vegan and the family the big Al’s cookies and butterscotch chocolate bars are delicious. I wish he sold a deal for buying X amount of cookies are bars get one included. They’re not cheap but really good. You can also order them for your offices with a reasonable delivery fee or send it to your favorite friend.

There’s an organic greens booth where you can get on a schedule for refills. It looks very good. I liked all the flower offerings. They had some cute five dollar options. Of course there’s wonderful produce. And somebody selling almonds. Hummus and other goodies. Plenty of other food trucks as well including a wonderful smelling Indian option. It’s

I love this farmers market, the guy selling the plants has really beautiful, unique and interesting plants at really great prices. Peace & om has leggings/bellbottoms at reasonable prices and all their clothes fit so well, they are super soft too I've bought so many leggings/bellbottoms from them and I'm literally never disappointed. Honestly most of the vendors at this market are very reasonably priced, the fruits/veggies are always beautiful, the food/drink vendors always have delicious treats. (I just tried the mozambique comfort food and it was so good I would definitely get food from them again) overall they have a vast selection of groceries, food and other miscellaneous products without being...

August 12, 2025 ... We were in town visiting with our granddaughter and three of our six great-grandchildren and their other grandma/great-grandma, and decided to spend mid-day at Law Street Beach before heading to the Farmer's market. My wife is from Argentina, so El Bocado was a natural choice for a bite to eat. It was also their first set up at the Market, so we hope they find a good following there. We're in the LA area, so not the kind of trip we would make on a regular basis.

We did enjoy the Market ... chatted with a few vendors, sampled some nice fruit, and bought a few peaches for the drive home that afternoon.

Parking is problematic...and costly if you have...

A few interesting finds but mostly goods that you can either find cheaper elsewhere or stuff everyone can do without. Bought some eggs for $9 a dozen and some Japanese tomatoes that look excellent. There is a booth with baked goods that look amazing and I couldn't resist the almond croissant but for a wholesale bakery (which I was assured they are) their pastries are rather expensive. As a comparison The French Gourmet has top quality croissants cheaper, same with Extraordinary Desserts and they are both retail outlets. Bottom line, a nice place to check out but I won't be shopping here regularly.
