Prada San Diego Fashion Valley — Local services in San Diego

Bought my wife a $900 pair of shoes for her birthday. She wore them for the 1st time last week for our anniversary. She noticed that the hole she was using in her strap was punched to close to the edge but since we were away for the weekend and she had no other nice shoe for our anniversary dinner she wore them anyway. Wore them for 2 hours only and the hole was about to tear. Went to the Mission Valley store , they told us that they weren't sure if it could be fixed and since this was deemed excessive wear and tear they would not replace the shoe even though the shoe has a 1 year warranty. They took a picture and said they would call us. Staff was rude and basically saying we were lying about only wearing it once. Unbelievable for such a high end store. Our case is still ongoing but for now this store and staff get 1 star for customer service and 1 star for quality of product. IF it were possible to give a negative star...

My experience was one of racial profiling and prejudice actions. While my husband brought me on vacation and to fashion valley to shop for the experience, we went into the Prada store for a pair of shoes. First off no one was masked but soon as we get in we were given mask to put on while other free roamed with no mask.. but that’s okay it’s Covid-19 precautions right? But as soon as the other folks leave, They lock us in while following our every move through the store. I was very uncomfortable at the fact they took their time to unlock the doors to let us out. Definitely did not get our money after those actions..Then when the next customers come in they don’t lock the door . That’s funny. I do have my connection for a few widely known magazine platforms. I will let them know this is not the place to shop. Very horrible experience. This will be put out front main stream. ZERO STAR...

I can’t explain the negative reviews because my experience was stellar! I went in just before Christmas to purchase a handbag for my daughter. The salesperson was super friendly and helpful. I ended up buying two bags. One for my daughter and one for myself. They even wrapped my daughters in a beautiful BIG box and another shopping bag!! Great experience! So...... she didn’t like it. Lol. We went back to the store day after Christmas. The salesperson remembered me. Again she took the time to show my daughter, who wanted to pick her own handbag this time, every handbag in the store. She found the perfect one after looking at numerous black bags. Everyone in the store was polite and friendly and our experience couldn’t have been better. Sorry for the people with the bad reviews but I had two wonderful experiences in the San Diego Prada store.
