Great price! I did my research and this was the cheapest one hour massage I could find in the gas lamp district. Plus cash discount. The place is no frills located in the back of a hair salon, but the beds were comfortable and heated (which was a surprise at this price point), the sheets were soft, the rooms were clean, the oils smelled good, and they played nice relaxing music. Sometimes if I go to a cheap place I am just lying on plastic and silence and while I certainly don't prioritize ambience, it is a nice bonus when the atmosphere is relaxing.

EXTREMELY deep and firm Thai massage. I get an insane amount of massages every year and they have truly run the gauntlet. I always request a firm deep massage. I've gotten everything from gentle petting, to someone just rubbing lotion into my skin for an hour, to serious painful bordering on torture - but in a good way. my masseuse Suzie was not messing around. She was stepping all over my back, her toes like torpedoes honing in on all my knots. It's honestly incredible how dextrous her feet are. Same with her elbows and knuckles. My back was like a tree it was so knotty and she just went to town. However, I also went with my partner who requested a much, much gentler and more relaxing massage and his therapist accommodated him perfectly so I think you can get whatever style you prefer here. But for sure if you like deep and firm, Suzie is the one.

I was really torn about this however I must write about my experience. I came here Tuesday for a 2 hour massage. The room is clean, it’s inside a salon which is very nice. I was taken on time. A few times I had to ask for the pressure to be less. Twice I was hurt. The thing that almost made it 3 stars was HER PHONE. She answered it once when starting, the a little while later and then about 40 minutes later while my arm was in the air she dropped it to answer the phone as it was saying JEREMY 2022. She then used only one hand to massage me while talking. I finally spoke up and asked her to tell Jeremy to make it quick. Only then did she tell Jeremy she was working and had to go! At the end she asked how it was and I told her answering the phone THREE times during my paid service was too much. I had asked at the beginning about coming back for an hour for my foot however after spending $140 plus $25 tip(gave less as I was upset) why should I come back to spend more just to have a better experience. Maybe if she had offered 15 minutes extra that day to make up for it on my feet I would have viewed it differently. By Wednesday night I figured spending more money for another massage was not going to be the answer so I didn’t book again. She said this was not common however I made a point out loud upon arrival to say I was turning off my ringer as I put my phone in the draw, she should have done the same. I thought about it after the third time for like 25 minutes in my head since angry. I am here to zone out of my own life and I don’t want to zone into someone else’s! Sad for me since I liked the massage mostly and the place. Disrespectful though if answers phone again and again and needs me to tell them to please hurry up off the phone. I was in town for a nearby conference and as usual when I travel my chronic shoulder, neck and back pain issues flared up. I read a lot of great reviews about Susie on Google - all 5 stars. And I can tell you it was the best massage I have EVER had. Later that day, I flew back to the East coast on a red eye which usually leaves me in bad back shape a result. This time around, I felt great and slept well on the plane which I never do. Susie is the most lovely person and is trained in traditional Thai massage therapy as well as American massage therapy and employs a combination of both.
