Ideally I like supporting a small little local biz if they provide exceptional customer service, are personable, and go above and beyond.Like most business now in SF,they are average at best, underwhelming, and way over priced .This is the second time I have purchased flowers from this little spot. I used to be a regular at Annies down on Geary and occasionally Utsuwa's (both top notch)when he has stargazer lilies and of course good ol Trader Joes. I only stopped by here because TJ's was out of lilies.I normally pay $5 for a full stem of 3-4 flowers that last over a week.I paid almost $7 for a multi stem that didn't last 3 days.
The first time,I purchased a single stem flower from here, it literally died within two days.I thought I would give them another chance, but nope.,distant,,unfriendly service along with low quality flowers will not make a regular out of me,I will stick with TJ's for their HUGE fresh selection at half the price..Also,a little birdie told me that some floral shop owners actually purchase TJ's flowers for their own shop and hike up the price like 200%.. Say what?
Helpful tip: Get to know your customers and what they like.A little kindness especially these days goes a long way too.I don't support classist, elitist and phony bs businesses with attitude even in over rated San Francisco! Get over yourself.I highly recommend Utsuwa or Polk street florist if you are in need of beautiful plants...
Read moreI used to love this flower shop. Used to get amazing, unique bouquets for a very good price. Today, I went to pick up a Mother’s Day flowers and asked them to make me a nice bouquet for $50. I ended up paying $54 for the bouquet in the picture and I swear I never even held a bouquet that small in my hands. I cut the bottom and put the flowers in the smallest vase I could possibly find at home. Tulips at TJs coast $10 for a nice size bouquet so I went back and asked why they charged me so much and they told me that it was “inflation” then they told me because it was Mother’s Day, so the way I see, they raise prices for special occasions on top of inflation which is ridiculous. They told me to come back on other days and told me “if I didn’t like their flowers they can refund me and I can go to TJ’s”. I don’t know what kind service this is but I also work in a service industry and this is just disrespectful. Clearly TJ offers better deals and tulips “from a different region” as I was told by them. Can anyone honestly look at this picture and approve the cost of $54 for that “bouquet?”
I will never go back to that shop again. Very...
Read moreI was on the hunt for a florist for minimal yet classy and affordable bouquet and boutonnière for our City Hall wedding. I had a terrible experience the week before and was feeling overwhelmed. I somehow stumbled on this place online and went to stop by. Abigail was there and was a literal burst of positivity and joy. She was so helpful, so professional and also so knowledgeable on all things flowers! I gave her my vision and she immediately gave me options and made me feel comfortable. I placed my order that day and came back for pick up the day before my wedding. Both the bouquet & boutonnière were PERFECT!!! I was teary eyed and she literally executed my vision perfectly! I also brought lace from my dress and she was so happy to add it to both my flower pieces right then and there for me. Both looked stunning and I was so so happy! I would absolutely recommend her and I will definitely be returning for my next floral needs!!! Thank you so...
