Where do I begin? As a tourist on the hunt for the best designer consignment shops in SF, I hit the jackpot with this one.
I was greeted warmly from the staff which I appreciated because I was in athletic wear, and sometimes when you walk in to such a classy place, they look down on you. Not the case here at all!!
I loved how attentive each associate was with me. Showing interest in me and asking me questions, it absolutely added to the experience!
The racks and racks of designer wear is what my dreams are made of- high end used clothing that is in great condition. I literally looked through everything on each rack!
As I was scouring a rack of jackets and coats, I stopped in my tracks as I found this brand new Khaite blazer that had tags still attached! My heart was beating so fast, as if I just had my first kiss, it was that much of an important moment for me lol
My room had so many items in it- from a Celine jacket, Chloe skirt, Lafayette148 NYC dress, Anine Bing blazer and of course, the Khaite blazer.
I ended up getting the Khaite blazer and Lafayette dress, both of which the associate (don’t remember her name, but she was so knowledgeable and in college from what I remember) bargained on the price with me.
I left feeling that I accomplished my mission of getting that one piece that will be in my closet for a while and I feel good about the price!
Thank you to the ladies working on that day and if you are local or a tourist, please stop by. You will not be...
Read moreWas in town visiting my daughter and decided to take a peek at their selection. Saw a retired Louis in impeccable shape that I loved immediately. A few associates and myself spent a significant amount of time trying to authenticate it by locating the serial number. None of us were successful so I decided to leave and sit on it. They implored that it was real. So I left them my number and asked them to call me once they had located the serial number. I heard nothing, so I decided to give them a call, after an hour or so. I asked about the Louis and inquired if they had located the serial number. I was placed on hold for quite a while and decided to hang up. I was willing to take a chance and returned the next day to purchase it. I entered the store with my daughter to awkward looks and an uncomfortable air. I asked about the Louis. The associate said the Louis had sold immediately after I had left, saying something to the extent of, the purchaser of the purse didn't care that they couldn't find the serial number. Needless to say, I was wildly disappointed. In addition, having worked in consignment for over 16 years, customer service is very important to me, and I was floored by how I was treated. Especially given the price of the purse, my willingness to return, and their inability to authenticate the purse, but exclaim that they had found a purchaser that deemed it wasn't essential to have a...
Read moreI found Cris in 2019 and have been a fan ever since! There is a wide range of inventory and many tasteful pieces from universally-recognized to contemporary designers. Too many consignment or buy/sell/trades in SF accept outdated styles, but staff here is knowledgeable and weed out the duds. While I haven't purchased anything on sale here, the staff recommend realistic price points when helping clients consign and try to keep prices reasonable and fair. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, and their passion shines through when they work. I've purchased and consigned here multiple times and am happy with every bit of business I bring here. In my opinion, it's THE BEST women's consignment shop in SF! The only complaint I have is I can't shop for my boyfriend here anymore, as their new location doesn't have a...
