I love this thrift store! I stopped in while visiting SF, and was immediately enamored. There’s a great selection of wardrobe staples and unique vintage and designer finds. They regularly post and sell items on their Instagram, as part of their “Curated Rack,” which is helpful for learning to style items (and if you, like me, don’t live in SF). They also offer a one-hour in-person or virtual styling session, where you answer some questions about your style and what you’re searching for, and they will create your own custom rack to browse. My experience with Relove (Michael Specifically) was deeply disappointing and indicative of troubling practices masked by performative branding.

I purchased what was advertised as an authentic SATOSHI Nakamoto studded shirt, only to discover it was a counterfeit. :(

After 400$ later.. I respectfully raised the issue, instead of addressing the concern with integrity, the store chose to wrongfully ban me—silencing critique rather than coming forth.
