DE iPhone Repair — Local services in San Francisco

Horrible service. Wouldn't refund me after Gary said he would in multiple emails. Lied. I feel taken advantage of after doing business here.

Beware! I came here for a very routine iPhone cracked screen fix. After repair the touch feature didn't work and my iPhone was useless. I called and emailed the store but got no response. All I wanted was either a refund or for them to actually fix my iPhone.

Finally after pushing 3 unanswered emails through and threatened legal action I finally got an email from Gary. Gary told me that if I would go get the screen fixed and send him the receipt and send him back the old screen (which he had originally put on my phone) he would transfer me my refund.

I did just as he asked in a very timely fashion too. He was quite rude and questioned the details of the receipt, which I don't understand why. After 2 additional "reminder to pay me emails" Gary said he was in China but could pay me on the 16th or 17th of June. I still got not payment or reply by the 20th so I wrote him an additional email which I still have got no reply.

These are bad businessman! Crooks. Liars. They do not keep to their word. These are exactly the type of people I avoid when doing even the smallest business. Do not give them...

Cracked my iPhone 7 screen over the weekend and came in here in-between appointments last night to get a replacement. Initially a pretty positive experience - they had it done in 30 minutes for $129. Not cheap, but hey, it’s an expensive part.

The big negative is that the quality of the screen they replaced is terrible - it’s not an actual OEM part and instead a cheap ripoff. The main issue (which I didn’t realize last night as it was early evening when I left the shop) is that you cannot see the screen when wearing polarized sunglasses — an issue that I didn’t have at all with the original screen! After a bit of research online I deduced that the cause of this is in the poor quality replacement that you can buy from China for $10! I understand that this isn’t the Apple store, but it feels like a bait and switch - especially at $129 for a repair.

I’d avoid these guys and use a legitimate, authorized repair...

This place is awesome. I shattered the front of my iPhone and came across DE on Yelp. I called and was open. I walked 2 blocks, and got it fixed within 40 minutes of the crack happening. And this on a Saturday afternoon. Gary was a really nice guy and gave great customer service. Even walked me out of the building after.
