Marina Barber — Local services in San Francisco

I'm not sure how this place is good at doing all barber stuff, but their customer service is despicable. I decided to try this place and book an appointment for the same day ( within 3 hours ). Then I discovered that I would have to stay longer at work, so I decided to be respectful and polite and cancel it. Square did not allow me to either rebook it or cancel it. I decided to call them rather than keep it and be very late or not make it.

Instead of saying thank you, their reservation lectured and scolded me that it was just 2 hours before. For the first time its ok , but next time…. .

Really? I just made this reservation 45 min ago. Threading to the potential client? Guys, are you out of mind ? Again, I hope they are good as Barbers, but it's not the we do the business in...

I was running a few minutes late for my haircut, so I tried to call to let them know and to see if we should move to a later slot given availability on the website. The response was super aggressive, telling me I would have to pay double for a later time slot or I would be fined $200 for any new booking. I’ve never heard of this kind of policy for any barber. Very unprofessional and impolite in my opinion. Unfortunately I cannot share any feedback on the quality of the cut but thought people should know before choosing...

Abel is a great find in this neighborhood, I have struggled to find someone who can cut consistently and takes their time (for reference I have a fairly technical cut which is a combination of clippers, scissors and razor), of the 3 times I have gone each one has gotten better (and the first one was really good!), Abel also has an extremely clean station and takes pride in his work, doesn't hurt that cuts finish off with a massage chair and a hot towel, excellent overall 10/10 would...
