I came across QueenP on Yelp when I was looking for an eyebrow place near FiDi. It's conveniently located on Market St in Sola Salon Studios which is actually a bunch of hair salons, threading/waxing/spa services, etc. - everything but nails, as far I know. One thing I really liked is that I was able to a book a same-day appointment online, and first visit was only $12 instead of the usual $14 if you check in with Yelp. Yes, please! The owner needs to organize their appointments better, learn how to communicate and stick to their words. The lady who did my eyebrow is sweet and it was her first day so I don’t hold her accountable but I had to wait 50+ mins for my eyebrow threading while I was told I’ll be the next one and will be attended in about 10-15 mins. Just because they’re running behind and the other people who had appointment arrived doesn’t mean that I should be put in last. I have been a loyal customer of Emma's ever since she opened her salon in Market st, and gosh it has been 7 years already. This is a very over due review and she deserves it for her skills and professionalism. I had no eyebrows shape when I first visited her and now I only get my eyebrows done from her.
