The AI assessment project they recently started recruiting freelancers for on ProZ and UpWork is by far the most poorly managed job I've seen in 11 years as a freelancer. Software bugs, unprofessional team leaders, confusing or absent instructions, impossibility to get timely assistance, erroneously published tasks we are not paid for, all of which results in hours of unpaid work because of bugs or the need to catch up with endless Slack chats on three different channels, with team leaders even mocking us for stupid questions and even answering very aggressively and unprofessionally when we have doubts about every single step after one month of all this chaos. And no coordinator is there to overview all the complaints and exchanges in the different Slack channels in the different languages. Many are reporting discrepancies in tracked time and unfair feedbacks, and acting on this is again exhausting and a loss of time. This chaotic management, toxic communication environment, and a rate per hour that is insanely low considered the amount of time you need to spend on this project outside of the actual tasks, are making the most professional and skilled linguists onboarded leave the project, me included. It's a pity, because I was skilled, precise, and interested in the nature of the tasks, but keeping on working on this project is pure masochism for my time, professionalism, and ultimately my mental health, when it comes to having to deal with aggressive "project managers". Also, the fact that it's never explained how the worked time is calculated by Remotasks, even when we are on different windows doing research, is...

I did not hear back from them after I provided dates and times.... And thankfully they did not get back to me. Because it is clear from the reviews on Google that they are a terrible company to work for and I would have ended up wasting...
