I’ve been going to Jean for over a decade — followed her across three shops. Now she owns Polish Nails Spa in Santee, and it’s the best pedicure I’ve had, every time.

When I was up in LA filming a movie, Jean did my nails and brows for a close-up scene. That moment made it to Amazon Prime (The Prince of Maybelline). So yeah — she is the real deal. She’s not just a tech, she’s a pro with pride in her craft.

The massages? Solid. Hot oil, not that cheap pink lotion stuff. Chairs with back rollers that actually work. TVs playing travel and food shows. Throw on your headphones and zone out.

Fellas! No stigma here. It’s got pink walls now — they just remodeled — but you won’t care once your feet stop hurting. The place is spotless, calm, and never pushy. Jean brings that kind of Southeast Asia vibe — Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam — where service isn’t transactional, it’s about pride and presence.

I started coming here about 6 months ago. And I can’t say enough good things about Polish Nails Spa. I go to Megan for all of my manis. SHE IS AMAZING! See picture 😍. She knows what i like sometimes better than i do, and always does something fun, bright, and colorful because she knows that’s what i love. I have also had pedicures from Tanya and Mai, both were amazing.

I have pretty sensitive nails and removal at other salons were very stressful, and all of the people i have had at this salon are gentle. Never hurt my nails. They do beautiful, good quality work in a timely manner.

The salon has the BEST color selection of any salon i have ever been to. The variety of dip colors, chromes, cat eye, holographic, and just generally fun colors is a joy.

The atmosphere of the shop is always positive and up beat, and it seems like everyone that works there is happy.

I love the shop overall, but most importantly, I love Megan. She does such beautiful work. She is gentle, careful, and highly creative. She is always a pleasure to work with!

I’ve been coming here consistently for about 3 months now to get my nails done and every time but one, i’ve had to come into get them redone/fixed. The only reason I keep coming back is because everyone here is so nice and welcoming! I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping the next time is better than the last. This last time I was in for an acrylic fill and it wasn’t busy it was just me and one other costumer. The girl who did my nails seemed to rush through my manicure just so she could talk to and hangout with her co-workers around her. I was trying to tell her what I wanted/be super specific because I don’t want to keep coming back for redo’s. This time I got a glitter silver polish and she only did two coats not covering my natural nail underneath completely without a base coat or neutral color to fill the spaces. I keep trying to talk myself into liking them because again everyone here is so nice. The time before this the girl who was doing my nails pointed out how they were different lengths but didn’t bother to fix them idk I feel like this could be helpful info for anyone...
