Was very surprised by my experience the last time I went in. I have been a metro pcs customer for the past several years and always receive friendly and helpful customer service at this store.
I drove by twice as the store did not appear open or that anyone was inside, but since the sign was flipped to open I decided to try. When I walked in I was not greeted and I felt as though I was a serious inconvenience/annoyance to the man behind the counter, who did not stop unpacking inventory to greet me or answer my questions. I understand that keeping the store stocked is a priority, but I was very surprised that the task wasn't even paused to offer help.
I wanted to upgrade my phone, however none of the phones on display were actual models, just plastic dummies which gave me no idea of screen quality or camera type. (I don't know if this is a new policy or just the Seaside store, but it's difficult for me to choose to spend several hundred dollars on a phone from a plastic brick with a sticker on the front.) There were also no clearly labeled prices on any of the phones, and the man behind the counter seemed irritated any time I asked a question, so I didn't bother inquiring about prices. I went to Walmart instead, bought the cheapest metro phone I could find, and I'm looking at changing my carrier now.
Was genuinely shocked - every other time I've been to this store I've received excellent customer service. This time I felt that the best thing I could do as a customer was leave quickly and quietly. I'd recommend calling first and seeing who's at the counter, and checking if it's an inventory or...
Read moreI just want to start off by saying Michelle is such a kind hearted person! Long story short:
First time, when I opened a line at this Metro in Seaside was back in October of 2020, a month or so passes by I open a second line, additionally, I asked Michelle if she had a wifi hotspot available in stock but unfortunately the hotspot unit was not available, so I ended up opening a second line instead.
Another month or so passes by right at the end: when we were in the process of moving out of Seaside I got a call from Michelle and was told the wifi hotspot is now available, so that same day I went and open a line for the wifi hotspot. Since it was near closing time, I was able to have a chat with her, and let me say: she is such a down to earth kind of person, she kept her promise about the wifi hotspot, I didn't expected for her to call me about the wifi hotspot but she did! That's when I said to myself her business if definitly getting a 5 stars.
Also, last but not least I've never been to a place where I felt so comfortable like this before, she is very 🌈 #LGBT 🌈 friendly!!
Also, she's not judgemental like some other places I've been through! And she has a great & awesome customer service. I would rate her business 10 stars if there is such thing. Whether I'm still here in Oregon or move out of state, I hope to see you again in July. Again, thanks for everything Michelle!...
