Went to the Seaside pool today for the first time. Walked in with my toddler, a floatie, my bag full of toddler stuff, and barely got through the door when the lady at the desk looked at me and said “We have a class.” This was the first time I’d been there, and I checked their website trying to figure out their open swim hours. It was pretty difficult to figure out the open swim times (obviously, since I showed up at the wrong time). It only lists “adaptive swim” in the open swim times on the website and nothing explains what that is. Nowhere on the hours webpage does it say you can’t swim during the classes, either. It’s a rainy day, and the Astoria pool is unfortunately closed on Mondays, so we drove 20 minutes from our home in Warrenton to go to Seaside. The lady at the front desk would benefit from some training in empathy and customer service. I’ll add a photo of the printer calendar she gave me to tell me when open swim is, which also isn’t clear at all, and I had to drive there to even see. She mentioned “anything in purple is open swim,” despite the key on the calendar showing yellow as open swim, with nothing marked as yellow and purple marked as “adaptive swim,” with again, no explanation of what that is. I hope this review can help them improve, it was a really disappointing morning for us.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great time at the public swimming pool in Seaside, Oregon while visiting for spring break! The main pool was spacious and divided into different sections, including a fun play area, basketball hoop, rope swing, and a climbing feature. There was also a small hot tub, and on the side, another pool that went up to 4 feet deep and was noticeably warmer than the main pool—perfect for relaxing. The facility was well-maintained, with huge locker rooms, multiple showers (including private ones), and designated changing rooms for extra privacy. A nice bonus was the swimsuit drying spinner, as well as goggles, swim caps, and life jackets available on-site. Open swim was from 1 to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, which worked perfectly for our visit. Best of all, it only cost $17 for our family of six kids (ages 5 to 12) and two adults—an amazing deal for such a fun experience! Overall, a fantastic place for families or anyone looking to enjoy a swim. Would definitely visit again!

Me and my friend and her child came to this facility to "WATCH" a basketball game and me and my blue and gold macaw were rejected because of no reason. No signs posted no pets as well as the representation from the door greeter of the facility being rude with no answer to why it was not posted. The issue is if you don't want animals inside post a sign so people no before hand. I drove 150 miles for this game and got kicked out because I didn't know that birds where not allowed. If you are a bird owner you know that they don't wander around or bother anyone. They are not a dog or cat or any other animal that has issues with barking or biting. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone that likes animals. I would understand if I was a person coming into use the facility but just to watch a kids basketball game is not exceptable. This place is a joke for not posting a sign or warning people that animals are...
