Review of Onni Apartments: A Cautionary Tale
I recently had the unfortunate experience of renting an apartment from Onni Apartments, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn prospective tenants about the dishonesty and lack of integrity I've encountered during my time there.
When I first signed the lease, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were eager to show me the apartment and make the process as seamless as possible. However, this pleasant demeanor quickly faded once I moved in and, even more so, when it was time to leave.
Upon moving out, I followed all the procedures outlined in the lease agreement, including cleaning the apartment thoroughly and returning all keys. I thought I had fulfilled my obligations and left the place in excellent condition, just as I had found it. However, I was shocked to receive a bill that included charges for various items, including alleged drywall repairs and cleaning fees, none of which were warranted.
Despite my repeated attempts to reach out to the management regarding these charges, my calls went unanswered. It became increasingly frustrating trying to get a hold of someone who could provide clarity on these issues. Every time I managed to speak with someone, I was met with vague assurances that they would look into the matter and get back to me. Spoiler alert: they didn't.
Whatâs particularly disheartening is the lack of accountability from Onni Apartments. They seem to have no qualms about imposing unjust charges, and their disregard for tenant concerns is evident. I was told multiple times that they would rectify the mistakes on my bill, but those promises were empty. It feels like once you sign the lease and hand over your money, they have little incentive to treat you with respect or fairness.
In short, my experience with Onni Apartments has been a lesson in the importance of integrity and transparency in property management. The friendly facade they present when you're signing up quickly dissolves into a cold and unresponsive attitude once you've moved out. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly advise you to think twice before renting from Onni Apartments. There are far better options out there that will treat you with the respect and honesty...
Read moreAvoid the Fairview tower like the plague. For how pricey it is the frequency of issues is nuts. The garbage shoot was down for months with the building expecting you to take garbage to the garage. And the elevator situation is ABYSMAL. Outages every other week leaving you trapped in your unit. When they are working expect long wait times and very full elevators every weekend and during peak hours. Easily add 5-10 min to any activity requiring an elevator. They decided to host a hotel out a residential tower which also has all of the amenities. So expect to share all the spaces and elevators with, groups staying at the hotel, events like weddings including all their guests, the residents of the other tower coming to use the amenities, and everyoneâs 30 friends they invite over. Everyone is using the same 4 elevators at least one of which is frequently reserved for moving, so really 3. It was not well thought out. Itâs a nightmare and trust me after paying 4-7k a month to live here for a year (thatâs 48-84k a year) youâll be questioning your sanity.
If it wasnât for the elevators itâs a nice place. The amenities are nice if crowded, the staff are nice, spaces are gorgeous, and the views from the sky homes are breathtaking. If rent wasnât 150% comparable rooms due to the high rise and amenities Iâd be able to live with the elevators. Please Iâm begging you, trust me and just rent a place in the Boren tower. You get all the benefits without the elevator hell. If you canât get a room in that tower...

While attempting to deliver a package to a client, I encountered an issue with the building's access policy. I was informed that bicycles are not permitted inside the building and was asked to leave. I explained that I had a package to deliver and mentioned that I have successfully completed numerous deliveries to this complex in the past. However, the staff member then informed me that I do not have access to the elevator and instructed me to call the customer to come down instead.
I believe it is unprofessional to restrict deliveries directly to the client's unit, as this could impact the service quality. Additionally, the situation could have been handled with more courtesy. When I requested to file a complaint, the staff member identified herself as the property manager and indicated that she was the...
