This gift shop has everything for anybody and it's really entertaining even as a local I like to go check things out in some of these gift shops specifically this one. but I would check Bartell's before you buy some of the souvenirs because I saw unicorn snot SPF for $24 when at Bartell's its $9.99.

They have the most unique souvenirs at this shop. I popped on in after the aquarium since it's next door. The store is large and has enough room the manuever. They have cool postcards, shirts, books and more. Everything is reasonably priced.

Great unique items especially kids plush toys but awful service and people working there are rude and ruined for us all nice experiences you get at the waterfront. Not going there anymore and not supporting their business.

Family came from halfway across the country to visit and all they could talk about was how polite everyone was... Then we went to Pirates Plunder... had a great dinner at the crab pot and after we went to do som gift shopping. My fiance and her nephew had purchased crab hats at the restaurant and while at Pirates Plunder they spotted pens with crab pinchers that clicked together when you pressed the button. They both grabbed two of them and click and clacked toward me in a brief moment of goofiness. I was going to get a quick phone video for memories but the moment was interrupted with an employee's voice saying "The pens aren't for clicking, that's very annoying!" My fiance and I both stopped and had to take several moments to figure out if the person that said that was indeed an employee. The funny thing is that I had just overheard that particular employee speaking to another co-worker about someone else being unprofessional. My fiance asked her what her name was and she said it was Valerie. And quickly followed it up with, "why you going to report me?" As if she was well aware of the fact she was incredibly rude. But she was right, that was our intentions exactly. I grabbed a card from the front counter only to find it was Valerie's card and she is the manager. I guess the next best thing to do is write a review because she is clearly unprofessional and the type of person that will do what she can to cover up any complaint we submit if she has the capability. I know this sounds like a very small problem but her attitude was enough to be a buzzkill for our entire family during our visit. It was a shame because the store showed potential to have several good gifts that we would have purchased but it was so simply ruined by someone with poor and rude social skills that somehow slithered her way to management... won't be back, thanks for...

The manager, Valerie, is extremely unprofessional, and her unwarranted attitude made for a very poor experience.

We had just eaten at The Crab Pot with visiting family and were wearing our silly crab hats. There are novelty pens at this shop that feature pinching crab claws when clicked. So naturally, we thought we needed to hold the crab claw pens while wearing our crab hats for a quick vacation video. It was my younger nephew’s first time traveling out of state.

From around the corner, we heard a voice tell us to stop clicking the pens, and that “it’s annoying”. When stepping around to see the person that spoke, they said “that’s not what the pens are meant for” and once again, reminded us that we were being annoying.

I get it. I’m sure the clicking can be annoying, but I am fairly certain a kitschy pen that has pinchers on one end is meant for more than just writing. It's meant for occasional goofiness that involves a little clicking now and then. Perhaps she was having a bad day (we all do), perhaps she had even heard those pens clicked hundreds of times already that day, but as a manager you are held to a higher standard and at the very least are expected to remain professional and courteous. Her response was pretty childish. We were only in the shop for several minutes.

She did tell us her name, and we were surprised when we grabbed a card on the way out titling her as a manager. This is a gift shop in a tourist-laden area. If you can't get onboard with a little frivolity and families snapping memories then perhaps you need to re-evaluate your position or stay behind the scenes where you won't encounter more...

Worst part of our Seattle vacation. The manager (Valerie) yelled at my 7 year old for not being with his parents (we were 10 feet away) and ripped a stuff animal away from him. He then went to get another one and was going to show us (we told him to pick something out) and before he could turn around and walk to us, she grabbed him and took it away and told him “his parents should be watching him”. After he ran to the corner nearby crying, our older son came and told us what happened. When confronted, I was told that “a good parent watches their kids in a store”. After a few choice words (you touch or yell at my kid, I lose my cool), I threw my over $100 worth of items we were going to purchase on the ground and stormed off. She is a bully and should not be in the retail business. Apparently I am not the only one who thinks that based on other reviews. TAKE YOUR...
