Food ordered: Crisp Halibut Sandwich, Oyster Poboy, Sautéed Clams, and Croquettes Taste: The sandwich was a delicious and satisfying meal. The halibut was cooked perfectly and had a crispy batter that was not too thick or greasy. The coleslaw was fresh and flavorful, and the tartar sauce was tangy and creamy. The po'boy was a great option for those who love seafood. The oysters were plump and juicy, and the bread was soft and fluffy. The remoulade sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the po'boy was topped with fresh lettuce and tomato. Finally, the clams were cooked in a garlic and white wine sauce that was flavorful and not too salty. The croquettes were crispy and creamy, and they were a nice contrast to the clams. Price: Crisp Halibut Sandwich was $18.95, Oyster Po'boy was $17, Sautéed Clams was $17, and Croquettes was $6.95 bring the grand total to $68.02...with taxes $6.32 and a 3% surcharge $1.80 and no option for tipping. This fed a party of three about $22 per person. Service: The staff at The Salmon Cooker is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always happy to help you make a decision about what to order, and they are always happy to answer any questions you have about the food. Atmosphere: The atmosphere at The Salmon Cooker is casual and inviting. The restaurant is small and intimate, and it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere by the ocean. Presentation: The food at The Salmon Cooker is presented in a simple and elegant way. The dishes are not overly decorated, but they are still visually appealing. Overall, The Salmon Cooker is a great place to go for a delicious and unique and budgeted seafood experience. The food is fresh and flavorful, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Seattle by the ocean.

All of the negative reviews I read were due to customers ordering fried food, so we stayed clear of that. Instead we ordered steamed Dungeness crab legs ($26.00) and snow crab legs ($23.00). You get 6 legs on the snow and 4 on the Dungeness, which is a good deal. The crab was steamed perfectly. They give you a plank and mallet to crack the crab, not the typical separators and crackers, so my son enjoyed hammering the legs for us. We also ordered oysters on the half shell for $17. The oysters were small and only came with cocktail sauce and lemon, but there were other condiments on the side like Tabasco, vinegar, and Tapitio up for the taking. We always need to try clam chowder at establishments as well. It was average. My son loved it! They also serve beer on draft for those looking for some cold beer. Despite the bad reviews this place has gotten, we thought it was great.

We stopped by here because it was right on the pier and just down from the harbor cruise we were going to. I didn’t even check the reviews since we were on a time crunch. It’s a cafeteria-type ordering system where you pick out your food and beverage, pay, get a number, and they will bring it to your table. I enjoyed a bowl of fish stew, and my son enjoyed his shrimp poor boy sandwich. We both had their microbrewed lager, which was overpriced and average. They have a condiment and lemon-filled water station to refill your water. There is a 4% service fee. There is no table service besides bringing your own order. Seattle pier prices. Fast turnaround after the order. Clean tables. It wouldn’t be my first choice again, but its location made it right for the time.

First time I ate here and I was so disappointed!!! I saw you had salmon fish and chips and ordered them with Jojos and the price on menu was $4 cheaper than I got charged. I also ordered a bottle of water and so after I paid I said do I get my water here? The guy said there wasn’t a water on the order. The guy taking the orders should really listen and make sure he has everything correct! Then I get my food and it was terrible worse salmon fish and chips ever!! Full of grease like dripping out grease, I was hungry so I ate 2 of them! Wish I ordered the cod instead. Then when the lady came out with my food I said I ordered Jojos and she said those are! They looked like fries to me. I said ok can I have ranch? She said I will see what I can do, obviously that was to hard because she didn’t even go look for some and just kept bringing food out. My stomach hurt so bad! We should have went somewhere else. My server was Julian and she needs to have some more training in customer service. The cashier Ricardo was very nice and gave me a glass of water. The person taking the orders I’m not sure who that was but I was there Saturday August 19th at 1:00pm so you can look and see who that was but he needs to be trained better. I am also wondering why I have to pay a surcharge on top of your high prices?? If your reading this do not come here! Go to the...

Came here on a whim, as we were cruising the pier and got hungry before our reservation at the nearby aquarium. The prices were a bit high, but what do you expect from a heavy traffic, tourist area.

I got a simple Caesar salad, my son got the chicken tenders, and my boyfriend; the fish and chips. Seating was a bit rough, it was extremely packed and we had to wait a bit until someone left. The outdoor patio seating by the water was beautiful.

The workers bring the food to your table, and they have a condiment station with a water dispenser, where you get those things yourself. My salad was fine, hard to mess up a salad. My son and boyfriend’s fried food items were okay. My boyfriend’s fried halibut was a little tough? A weird texture for something advertising halibut, as it’s usually more tender and smooth. But the batter portion of the fish and chicken were good. My son’s chicken tenders were a bit tough too and he only ate a little bit of it.

Overall, a good location for this restaurant if you want just a quick bite, but nothing too crazy. Just be prepared to...
