This review is regarding an issue that we had recently when trying to cancel an appointment due to a medical emergency.
A quick background, my girlfriend had a scary vehicular accident about a week before her appointment. She got pretty banged up but was going to be ok. Then, the night before her appointment, we had to take her to the emergency room because her wounds had gotten infected and she was starting to feel sick. The morning of her appointment I reached out to the salon to let them know that she was having a medical emergency and would be unable to make it. I was told that there are no refunds if the appointment is canceled within 24 hours, but because it was an emergency they would check if they could make an exception and get back to me.
Instead of ever reaching back out to me, later that day I saw that the full $250 appointment fee had been charged to our card. When I called back I was told that they were not allowed to make an exception and the stylist also had the same policy.
I understand that the policy is there for good reason, to avoid constant last minute cancellations, but it was extremely disturbing that they could provide 0 exception to this rule, even in the case of emergencies. This policy completely disregards the lives that their clients have.
Being at my girlfriend's bedside in the hospital concerned for her health and then seeing a $250 charge for an appointment she obviously could not make was extremely disappointing and frankly rude. Every other appointment and meeting my girlfriend had for the day was completely understanding of the medical emergency she was facing and acted with kindness, this was the one establishment that was unable to do the same.
I asked for a managers email so that I could reach out to them regarding the situation and try to get it resolved amicably. Unfortunately my communication has received 0 response.
In a time where people are spread so thin and so many issues persist in our lives, it really is unfortunate to see that this salon operates with 0 understanding or compassion for its clients.
All of this to say that we are very disappointed by how this situation played out, the lack of communication/response, and the overall lack of empathy. My girlfriend has been a client for some time here and has typically enjoyed their services, but it is safe to say that we will not be using their services again if this is how they treat their clients during life...

The second I sat down, I was asked what shape I wanted, which I thought was funny because she hadn't even started my manicure - I asked for clarification and was given such a short response, followed by "this must be your first time getting nails" - ACTUALLY, FAR FROM LADY! In fact, I know how an experience should be, and this isn't it. I asked if the salon had glow in the dark gel and was shocked when the lady threw a color wheel on the table at me - and they were BASIC colors! Did she not hear me?? Then- whenever the tech buffed my nails, she went so fast and choatic, even the finger tips of her gloves kept getting caught in the drill bit. I felt the need to tell her "please don't hurt me" because I thought I would get nicked. I have to say, my set turned out pretty nice BUT the real test would be in the quality which would judge my return. Low and behold, 8 days later, one nail was so flimsy it fell off. Sets should last at LEAST 2 weeks. Shoot, my last set of nails before the stay at home order were hella overgrown but still intact on week 6!
I understand that a Friday afternoon can be taxing after a long work week, which is part of the reason I booked an appointment myself, as a treat. But please - techs at least ACT like you want to be there?!

Update: this place is a complete hit or miss when it comes to quality. I have been serviced by 4 different nail techs; I've had one stellar set, another decent set, the one shown above that came with rude service now my current set is a week old, barely any grow out and already are all lifting to the point that it's painful if I make the wrong move.    Read moreI have been a loyal client of this nail spa for over five years. While it used to be an amazing place to go, my recent experiences have been deeply disappointing.
The first issue occurred when a nail tech used a pumice stone to remove medical tape residue from my lower leg. While I believe she had good intentions, the method was poorly thought out, causing my skin to be removed and leaving a permanent scar. I reached out to the owner, who refunded me, but that was the only action taken to address the situation.
Despite this, I decided to continue supporting the spa. However, a few months ago, I experienced another upsetting incident during a pedicure. At the time, there were only two clients in the pedicure chairsâmyself and another person whose service hadnât even started yet. A mother and daughter arrived and requested to sit together. The nail tech offered to move the other client over one chair to accommodate them, but the receptionist declined. Instead, she waited until my pedicure was almost finished and then asked me to move five chairs down to make room. This disrupted my experience, and in the process of moving, my freshly painted polish was smudged.
I called the spa immediately after to report the issue and to question why I had been asked to move instead of the other client, especially when their service hadnât started. The receptionist was reluctant to remedy the situation, but I insisted that I would come in first thing the next morning to have it fixed, as I had already been inconvenienced and expected the service I paid for to be completed properly.
These incidents highlight a significant decline in customer service and a lack of respect for loyal clients. The disregard for my experience, combined with the ownerâs failure to meaningfully address these issues, has led me to reevaluate where I spend my money. Sadly, I can no longer recommend...
