I generally like the haircuts I get here. The Asian lady (whose name I don't know) does a good job, and with good consistency between visits.
However, I am not a fan of the owner. He is also a barber, and he cut my hair on at least one occasion. I remember being mildly humiliated by the experience. I have some dandruff, and he kept brushing my scalp roughly with a spiky round brush, as if to make as many flakes fall out as possible, in a way that I could see it. I've also seen him be rude and cold to a prospective customer (maybe more), who was turned away because the place was "closed" -- even though it was 20+ mins before the listed closing time. Read moreThis place is cheaper than other places but I’d gladly pay typical prices than come here again. Yes, the woman gave me a haircut, but she sped through the entire thing in 30 minutes. I’ve never felt someone run a buzzer through my hair so quickly and carelessly. The buzzer edge was so fast and rough against my scalp that I wondered if it was going to break skin. At the beginning of the cut, I asked her to be careful about cutting the top back part of my hair because when it’s cut too short, it tends to stick out. After showering I looked in the mirror and saw that she had done exactly that. The hairs in that area were totally sticking out.
