I love Basha's. Their customer service and their employees are always willing to help. I usually find everything I want. Their prices are certainly a lot better than Whole Foods.
Today, after I had done my shopping, I had locked my purse, which contained my keys, in my trunk. My battery on my phone was starting to die as well. Having nothing else with me, Maurice the front end employee, came to the rescue and allowed me to use his charger to charge my phone while I waited for communication about the tow truck that was coming to help me. Jeremy C., the store manager, plug the phone in an area that I was able to see if I've got any calls with an update on the tow truck. I'm so grateful for his helpfulness and kind demeanor. He was excellent.
Just know that when you shop somewhere, it's not only the product and the price, it's the people. Know that the people make a huge difference. I am thankful and...
Read moreMy family and I have been shopping at Basha's Sedona for over 40 years and it's always been so pleasant until Raleys bought them out and ruined what was once a nice locally owned business. I have watched people vanish from there after 20, 30 and 40 years. Some retired because they didn't like the new owners, some had their position eliminated after decades with not even a thank you for your service. The meat is terrible now because they stopped grinding their own meat and now they get it from a tube. The biggest slap in the face is that they have a worker there that has been there for 40 years and wont give this person a retirement because they've only been a bagger/cart person for 40 years and apparently this person doesn't deserve to retire from a job well done. I have stopped shopping here for 6 months now. It's a shame because the staff is amazing and I really...
Read moreThe check-out experience was like a comedy skit. Everyone had to check out through self-checkout, even if we had carts filled with dozens or hundreds of items. The self-checkouts do not have space for that. There is only space for 2 bags, and each time I removed one bag in order to start filling a new bag, the machine would lock up (because the items were not yet paid for), so the assistant had to come over (very frustrated and rolling her eyes) to reset the machine. Over and over and over. Also, there's no place to put your bagged groceries except either or the floor or in the cart from which you are still unloading (alongside your still un-scanned items). These stations were not designed for customers with large numbers of items. It was hilarious but a waste of everyone's time. I've shopped at this Basha's for 18 years, but I might not...
