Always a sucker for some good jerky, this was an easy detour for me. While my party patiently waited, I chatted with the very friendly and helpful young man, who had obvious enthusiasm and knowledge of the product. Cheerfully he cut me small slices of various jerkys to sample, which were all so tasty, they were obviously going to result in a sale. Settled on the āWorldās Best Sweet and Spicy Elkā. I often see the āWorldās Bestā tag applied to many things, but I would find this one tough to argue against. So. Good.
After exchanging money for delicious jerky, I offered my compliments to the smoker and spice master, asking the nice young man to pass them on. He gave me the biggest grin and said, āThatās my dad.ā
