The wait was a little long but I guess thata to be expected. We were told 20-30 minutes and it was well over an hour. The staff seemed very friendly, the food was really great and looked amazing as well. We went their expecting a great view and while parts of the patio did have that most of it was hidden by trees. The biggest downside to the meal was the people there with their dogs. I love dogs I have 2 of my own. But I'd my dog barks at every other dog they see I would not take them to a public place with other dogs. It was very distracting and startling to have dogs just start barking at each other while trying to have a conversation and a relaxing meal. I understand this isn't the fault of the restaurant. But they should have a policy that of dogs act out they should be asked to leave It's not really fair to the giests.who do have their dogs under control or no dogs at all to have to deal with that. Read moreThe food here is amazing. I love this place for brunch/lunch or dinner, their menu always has something I am excited to eat. The peach cobbler is a must!! The atmosphere is beautiful, nothing beats sitting on the patio and enjoying the creek.
The servers and chef have been really awesome when we have gone in, they even signed one of their books for us. Make reservations early, walk-in and wait for a little bit, or have a seat at the bar/patio.
I almost removed one star from my review due to the service from the hostess. We have gone multiple times and each time the hostess at the front has been rude, and not very helpful. When calling in she says they are full, instead of, "walk-ins welcome, but there is a ... minute wait." and in person she has been very cold and unwelcoming.
Luckily the food and hospitality of the rest of the...
Read moreMy wife and I are celebrating our anniversary and decided to go to Sedona. We pull into the parking lot the GPS took us to. There is a man holding a stop sign. He walks up and taps on my vehicle window with his stop sign, I roll down my window. He ask what my destination is, so I tell him "Hideaway house". He replies "not my parking lot, get out... GO!" Then points his stop sign towards the exit. I wasn't aware I was in the wrong parking lot since that is where my GPS told me to turn in and also not being from Sedona. And it was actually next door, so he could have politely said, "oh, hideaway house parking is actually next door, just turn in your next entrance." Good place to make our first stop on our anniversary. With employees like that, it guarantees I will never stop at this plaza or ANYWHERE in...
