I recently moved to Sedona, so I had my prescriptions transferred from the Walgreens in Flagstaff AZ. I wish I hadn't transferred them now. I arrived at the Sedona Walgreens to pick up my prescriptions on 9/12/22, a Monday at 10am. My prescriptions were transferred and supposed to have been ready on the Friday before as I received a text telling me they were ready, but when I got there on Monday they weren't. The lady at the drive up window assured me they would be ready at noon so I went back to work. When I returned at noon the same lady informed me my prescriptions weren't ready yet and they would be by 3pm. I went back to work and returned at 4:15 to the drive up line. I waited in line with three cars ahead of me and after almost 45 minutes they closed the curtain for the drive up line as I was pulling up. It wasn't 5pm yet, which is when they close. I went inside to tell them not only I but other people behind me were in line waiting almost just as long. They still refused to offer my any service and insisted they were closed and stopped operating at 5pm, despite the fact they were still servicing people in line inside the store. They functionally were not closed and after debating this with them they decided to look up prescription which should have been ready at 3pm and it still wasn't.
The people employed at this pharmacy are clearly too inefficient and lack the knowledge to operate it to the standard of most modernized pharmacies, or just other Walgreens. It was clear they didn't want to help me if they could, but I caught them in a lie so they decided to, and even so they I still didn't get my prescriptions because of their incompetence. The staff there acts as if it's okay to give arbitrary incorrect answers to customers' questions. The pharmacist in charge there that day was completely cold and unhelpful. She told me they close at 5pm and "that's business." If I hadn't debated the legality of her still clearly being open and not giving me help like the other people in line she would have been happy with not helping me at all. Do not expect a good or friendly experience with this pharmacy.
The staff is clearly not well trained. Walgreens should really consider closing this pharmacy if they can't operate with the same standard of quality as their other pharmacies. It's clear they've had these problems for...

Dear Walgreens Customer Service Team,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the customer service at your Walgreens location at 1955 State Route, Sedona. During my recent visit, I encountered an employee named Joan, whose attitude was unwelcoming and unnecessarily rude. What should have been a simple and pleasant shopping experience instead left me feeling frustrated and disrespected.
After sharing my experience, I was surprised to find that many other customers have reported similar encounters with rude and unhelpful staff at this location. It is unfortunate that such a beautiful place is represented by such poor customer service. No one wants to feel berated while simply trying to make a purchase.
Joan was upset that a coupon on the wine bottle Was expired and argued back and forth with me about it. The total purchase was under $10 and she insisted on going on and on about the coupon for $1, holding up the line and other customers.
I urge Walgreens to take these concerns seriously and address the ongoing issue with customer service at this store. A business cannot thrive if customers consistently feel unwelcome, and at this rate, it’s easy to see why many might choose to shop elsewhere—or even online—to avoid such negative interactions.
I would appreciate a response regarding any steps Walgreens plans to take to improve the customer experience at this...
Read moreI agree with the statement of rudeness in the Pharmacy that I have seen in these reviews. I have had immunizations here numerous times. I never had to have an appointment! I walked in last night and waited 12 minutes until I was acknowledged. Then waited 8 more minutes to be helped. There were absolutely no other customers there or on the phone. I said I would like to get my shingles vaccine. I had no appointment. The man that was helping me said oh you need an appointment. Then he asked pharmacist if an appointment was needed. It was clear they did not want to assist me. I am a retired healthcare worker. I would have said, "We are now requiring appointments, and since we are not busy, we can get the immunization done for you." I will never go back! In 25 years of living here, I have never experienced attitudinal lack of customer service. I called Fryes in Cottonwood . The Pharmacist was so friendly. Said,"no appointment was needed, come on in, see you soon." The pharmacy was busy there and Pharmacist got me right in. Very personable. She was very good at giving immunization, knowledgeable, and educated me on side effects. My husband remarked on the difference in treatment as he also witnessed the Walgreens situation. Fryes pharmacy is my go to now. It's worth the drive to get friendly,...
