EDIT 12.10.24- just wanted to say that the store has improved greatly from when I left my original negative review. I've had no issues with food quality control, but I believe that's because I contacted corporate. That being said the lines are still pretty brutal and a solid 3/4 of the time there are just 5 employees laughing in self check out and one worker on register. They told me it was difficult hiring. Id suggest paying people more to get actual staffing.

I need to point out that they have SO much gross or expired food. This is the 4th time in a row I've gone to eat produce that was well within the date and it's rancid or rotten. Once I bought cheese puffs that were 6 months past the date. Another time I went to buy raspberries and a staff was actively putting out boxes that were very visibly full of mold. Multiple boxes of very moldy berries, not just one bad one in the box. I pointed it out and the employee just shrugged and asked if I wanted a different box, and didn't even bother checking any others before putting them out. Lettuce packages with nearly a dozen fruit flies inside, slimy corn, you name it. It's disgusting. Do better. The selection of items is fine but my GOD checking out is impossible. They've made the self check out 6 items or less, but then refuse to have more than 1-2 cashier's, meaning lines stretch quite literally through 4 departments, no exaggeration. It goes around the corners every time, meaning half your groceries are thawed by the time you even get to your car. Not to mention the 1-2 cashier's are so exhausted by the time you do get to them they look dead inside, no fault on them. Maybe target should try actually staffing...

Disgusted completely by Seekonk Target. So before I begin my rant, I did call three other targets to get the policy on exchanging formula. So I am apart of a church community and this kind older lady has bought myself and a few other mothers formula as a gift. However she must have myself and another mother confused because I asked for similac sensitive and she’s boughten myself goat milk instead. She isn’t available during the week nor does she has a receipt I was informed so she expressed that I can exchange formula with no receipt It just can’t exceed $100 well due to previous items I’m at my $100 so I send my husband in and he is Native American and Cape Verdian and I am a white woman so when I exchanged on of the cans last week they did it without hesitation. So tonight as we proceed to go in and exchange the last two cans we have I sent my husband because he has NEVER returned anything to target they immediately tell Him No. so I called three surrounding target stores and there policy is all the same I called the store to express my anger and ask why and she got upset I assumed it was due to his color of skin which why else if the policy is the policy right. She hung up on me . So target in seekonk is extremely rude and racist from what I gathered. Sad sad world and disgusted but some...

Now I'm not sure who's bright idea it was to hire this guy I'm about to complain about. As my wife and I walked up to the entrance doors there was a target employee singing while pushing carts. The kind of singing that you could tell he wanted to be heard "discovered" He was obnoxious and rude, when I was in the bathroom he came in and yelled "BATHROOM CHECK" twice in a 3minute period This also happen to my wife while she was using the bathroom

This was really rude, uncomfortable and just weird. He continued to sing throughout the store, which was really annoying and aggravating because the honest truth is that HE WASN'T GOOD, off pitch, and cringy. Now I would have never been this harsh about someone's passion, but because he was really obnoxious aside from singing and that it was inappropriate for a target, it really frustrated me.

This employee ruined this target for me I could write on about how many mind blowing things I herd this employee say to guests/customers and did on the job.
