Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Seekonk

My girlfriend and myself stopped in at Starbucks before we went over to Target 🎯 to look at the Halloween 🎃 decorations. We stopped there for the convenience and also because I could follow my dietary restrictions (just having weight loss surgery a month ago) by having one of the egg bites your establishment sells. The egg bites are my favorite thing there and don't make me sick. The woman at the counter was super accommodating even though it was less than an hour before close and she was alone, she dropped everything to help us. As someone who has worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry I can really appreciate and admire that. I know how hard that is when you're trying to get the heck out of work. My girlfriend had the coffee cake and the girl asked if she wanted it heated up. She said it was amazing. We also had the frozen passion fruit pineapple tea. So good! Totally recommend! We gave her a nice tip because we know it's hard to deal with the public and she was wearing a mask and that made us feel safer too. The people she had after us were so damn rude. Asked for a hot chai tea, with milk and honey, and was charged for a latte. When I asked about the price 6.55, she said it's the same price for a hot tea. So I asked the girl who prepared my tea how much a hot tea was she said 4.55, I told her I was charged for a latte and she says " oh do you wast a pastry?" Then I open the lid and no milk or honey, so I ask for mil and honey, she opens the lid puts in honey and 2 drops of milk, now it's almost overflowing and still not enough milk, hands it back to me and says " if you want more milk just let me know and I'll pour some water out, I open the lid, boiling hot teas spills all over me , soooo unhappy with the service and attitude at...

I am originally from Seattle and have an affinity for Starbucks from days of yore. Starbucks these days just do not seem to have the same appeal. The staff is always great. No problem there. The food is never great. Serious problems with the food. The Somerset Starbucks is okay but nothing special and definitely does not bring back memories of Seattle. Regarding the cost if a cup of coffee. Very expensive but that does not seem to deter die hard fans of the Emerald City Brew.
