Torrid — Local services in Selma

I am happy to now update my review to a 5 star from a 1 star. There has been staffing changes and the new manager Syerra is just so awesome she helped me so much along with the other employee too. So I DEFINITELY WILL be going back now!!!!!!! This below was my previous experience as a reference..... I was not really welcomed I believe 1 person said hi, I was not offered a fitting room, I was not informed of any sales, I just was not offered help at all. I did find 1 item I wanted and was told NO that they DON'T honor online prices. The associate looked it up on her computer snd ofc it showed the full price of over 70.00 but it rang up 39.99 and is online for 31 96 which they refused to sell me the item for that price. I have never felt so unwelcome in a torrid ever. The ones in San Antonio always treat every guest kindly welcome them, offer a dressing room ans so on amd so forth but not this one. I will go back to San Antonio to buy the item I was going to buy here and never set foot in this location ever again. They literally let me walk out the door and take my business elsewhere to another Torrid that's sad. It would be a shame if they treat ALL the customers the way I was treated...

I have waited to go to this store which is my favorite clothing store. When my daughter, which is on Oxygen 24/7, and myself the persons behind the counter looked at my daughter and me up and down which was very Rude! There were only a tall lady and a short lady. Did not asked us if we needed help. She never left the counter only until I asked a question about the bralets. She was very like why you bother me !! Being in Selma, Tx near to Olympia area why the rudeness? It just made smile upside down. Maybe that stores location needs to be more nicer then both of the ladies that was there! Love this store! Everyone is always so polite! I have social anxiety and it feels good that they do say "welcome to torrid" but they also give me a chance to browse first before asking me if I need any assistance. I however do wish torrid stores had more of a selection in store as compared to online. Id be more inclined to walk in if they did.
