I had a similar experience as the post before mine.
Jareds, owned by the same company as Kays, completely ruined my first engagement ring beyond repair. I had to get a brand new setting. I was hesitant to trust this company again but gave them a second chance. Boy was I wrong!!! Never again.
The manager at this location, Ebony, was incredibly rude. I lost a lot of weight and had my engagement ring and wedding band resized. When I went in to send them off, she sized my finger to 5.75 and I made a comment that my fingers were cold and I know they will swell in the summer. I asked if I should size it up a half size (to maybe a 6.5). She insisted 5.75 was the right size. I was hesitant because the starting size was 7.75. I let her know I was hesitant due to past experiences. This is a huge change that can affect the integrity of my rings, but I sent them off to get sized. When I picked up the rings they were a little tight getting over the knuckles. I was concerned, but she still insisted they were fine. I also questioned the extra gold used and she ignored it. They are supposed to take after pictures of all sides of my ring and she did not.
Fast forward a few weeks, sure enough my fingers swelled. Taking them off bruised my knuckle. I went in to complain about the sizing and how there was gold added to hold in some of the side stones. I wasn't happy. I told her it was the wrong size and she tried to force it on my finger to prove me wrong. When I told her I asked about sizing up for this very reason, she gave an attitude and let me know she is a professional. That was her professional opinion and she wasn't wrong. I was apparently too blind and stupid. She made me feel like my ring was perfect and I had nothing to complain about. I felt she was blaming me for the problems. I started to argue with her and asked for the manager. She said "I am the manager and you can get out of my store." I was shocked and very angry.
I am very angry with the way she treated me. My concerns didn't matter to her. It was hard to voice my concerns and get any words in because I guess I offended her. I have the name of her district manager and Ebony found out. So she called me to see if I was still interested in getting my issue resolved. Fat chance, I'm not working with her EVER again. This is not the first time I have had issues with the company. Especially with customer service. Very disrespectful.
I went to a local jeweler. The rings were sized to a 5.5. Now I have to pay to get them...
Read moreHad a horrible experience at this location. I have spent tons of money with Kayâs, my account has over 15,000$ in purchases. My wife has close to 10,000$ in purchases. I ordered a 3,000$ bracelet online with the forever warranty plan. It came in the mail and I wasnât happy with how it looked so I went into this location to return it and find one I liked better. When I went in the lady was very rude from the beginning, saying I needed the original box and it says that when I did the return request online so I showed her that it does not say that and that Iâm from out of town and the original box is at my house. She than started comparing it to the pictures that was on the website for the bracelet, after a few minutes she says this ainât the one Kayâs sent me I told her itâs 100% the same one. She shows me how the claps is different I tell her how does she know that accurate. She says itâs not the same one and she canât help me. I told her itâs the same one or they sent me the wrong one. She would not help me, I than called customer service and they open a case about it, and the lady said that with whatâs going on the the world they are forced to use different claps because they canât always get the same ones. She also said itâs completely normal for it to not match the website pictures 100% hopefully there customer service can help me because the rude lady in store wouldnât help me at all and insulted me by calling me a lier and acting like I was trying to fraud them. If this issue isnât solved I will start shopping for my jewelry somewhere else. But I will never be back to this location regardless of the out come...
Read moreI have had wonderful experiences with this store except for one manager there. I wish I knew her name but she nevet wears a name tag or covers it with her hair.
The first time I had an issue with her was two years ago trying to pick up my wedding rings. She told me my ID was not good enough to pick it up which is wrong. She was rude and disrespectful. I did get me ring back but it was not easy.
The second time was today, March 10 2018. I went to pick up my husbands band that had to be sent back because it came back with damages. The lady and I got into an argument over it and she threw me out of the store. I then snatched my papers and ring off of the counter and walked out of the store with my children. I stood right outside the store and called to file a formal complaint against her. She then called the cops telling them I asulted her by twisting her wrist. I never touched the lady and there are cameras to prove it. The cops took our information and finally let me and my children go. I was informed that she would be filing assault charges against me.
I urge everyone to take your business to...
