I would like to start this by saying this review is in no way a reflection of the Store Manager. Neal (hope this is the correct spelling) was polite, professional and very helpful. When I walked in the store the atmosphere was appealing but I can't honestly say I recall bring greeted as I was coming in. I walked through the store to the back and after browsing for a minute or two I realized there were two coworkers on the floor having a conversation with one another. I didn't want to be rude and interrupt them but I was in plain sight and it was evident I was waiting on one of them to acknowledge I was there. No such luck so I went up to the counter and looked at the staff there to see who appeared to have the warmest personality. I knew I picked right when I asked the gentleman for help and the young girl next to him barked out "you could have just asked them for help". I avoided saying anything back and Neal came back to help. After sizing my foot and getting the shoe I wanted for me Neal informed me of the sale that they were having. I decided to find something else to take advantage of that sale and Neal actually waited patiently for me instead of just walking back to the counter. While I was looking for something else I noticed that Neal was helping the rest of the customers in the back while the two coworkers continued their conversation. I finally asked Neal who the manager was, and he confirmed what I already knew. It was him. I felt like he was doing what he could with what he had and I think that he's doing a remarkable job considering what he's stuck with. Thanks again Neal. Because of your personal efforts I will definitely be coming back instead of just making my...
Read moreHorrible service! I have gone to this store previously and have never experienced such a rude staff as I did today. I understand that itâs the holiday season, but the young girl at the front desk was as rude as rude could get. I asked for the manager as I was looking to purchase a pair of boots that they no longer had in stock except for on the shelf in my size, I asked if a discount could be given since they were clearly worn and was told that they never offer discounts...totally fine. The issue was the attitudes I received from three different staff members, they were rude and looked at me like I was from another planet...being born in DC, Iâm used to this type of nonsense and know that nothing will be done about their attitudes, but thought I would warn everyone anyway. When I asked questions, they looked as if they couldnât understand me, and believe me when I tell you there is no poor grammar in my speech! Training in etiquette and customer service is a must, ultimately itâs just not being taught at home. I have adult children and if they were to ever respond this way to anyone, theyâre employer would be the last person of concern to them. Iâm banning this store, Journey was great and I bought the same shoes there and they even apologized for the poor experience I encountered at the...
Read moreThis store is absolutely amazing. I purchased a pair of Timberland for my son and they didn't fit. I did not know that boys grow so fast. Kobe at this store was very understanding, professional and very knowledgeable. He helped figure out what size to get and exchanged the boots with ease. When I returned home, my son was able to fit the boots and there is a little extra room , just like Kobe said. Jordan also assisted me and he was super helpful. These 2 gentlemen is a great asset to the Timberland Corporation. Keep up the great work Kobe and Jordan.
Thanks you so much...
