Long story short the manager lied to me and then insinuated that I was being dishonest about cold food. Who spends any extra time on a vacation calling, leaving messages and then responding to call backs just to get something free. News flash we love the Christian Chicken and will always support them but I will NEVER go back to this location.
Last Friday night we waited in line over 30 min to just order. I get it they were busy! No problem, we waited non the less. We typically do curb side pick up but the parking lot is very dark and small and there is no clear markings or signs marking spots as curb side pick up - like all the other ones we have ordered from.
I ordered a large order to feed our big group, which partly consisted of TWO 30 count nugget trays (60 total). I also ordered fries and a few sandwiches. They didn’t ask if I wanted sauces and acted like it was a bother to get them, but I let this go as they were nearing closing time. They were tired, I totally understand.
As we are going down the road I start passing out food. I divide the nuggets between the kids and teens and then casually eat one- they were cold, rubbery and super greasy. They tasted awful, definitely not the quality we have come to love with Christian chicken! The cell service was poor and when we got to our cabin they were closed. I called the next day and had to leave a message. I explained what had happened and asked for a return call. I explained we were on a vacation and we would be leaving Monday, as I know they are closed Sunday. I was very nice, even explained it was the end of the night and I was sure it was an over site.
Sat afternoon a man name James called me. He explained that if I could stop by they would take care of it or if we left before we talked then they could mail us something to make it right. Wow, this is why I love Christian chicken, they always make it right and have amazing customer service! Wrong.....
Sunday they are closed so we stop in Monday morning. I pull in a spot and call the store. I am connected with the same person who left the message Saturday, James. He asks me my name, what the problem was (even though he knew from my message -that he already agreed to fix) and what time of night we came through. I still had my receipt so I explained it was 9:27pm Friday night. He then stalls, “ ...ummm... we don’t keep nuggets more than 30 min that time of night. Tell me again what they tasted like? How far did you go away from the store before you ate them... I mean we don’t keep them longer than 10 or 30 min before they are sold.” I explained that we started to eat the food not a mile away as we were driving down the road. That the line was ridiculous (they had an actual cop directing traffic) and we thought if we came back that we wouldn’t make it through the line before they closed. I mean we were all tired and just wanted to go lay down. The man who is over customer satisfaction stalls again, “... ummm I just don’t see how they tasted like that because like I said we don’t keep them longer than 30 min at most.” I explained in his message he said he would fix it or mail us something to make it right. I stated that I was in the parking lot in spot 39 (that was visible in the daylight) if he wanted to bring them out as we were headed home. He then states, “.... well I can remake one of the trays... I’ll be out in a min... making sigh sounds. It was very clear that I was treated as a liar as he mentioned 3 or more times that he couldn’t see how they were cold or rubbery that time of night. Here is the deal, I don’t care about the nuggets, it was a waste of $30 but the way o was treated by a CHRISTIAN company who strives to provide top notch customer service was beyond unacceptable! I have spent more than I care to share on Christian chicken just since the pandemic started. It is my children’s happy place and we always want to support them for the simple fact it is a Christian company!
I am heart broken and very...
Read moreI first would like to start off by saying is that I eat at Chick-fil-a almost every other day, I also use the mobile app every time I eat at any location. So, I know how the ordering ahead works on the app. I also, would like to say out of all the Chick-fil-as I have eaten at this is the first time ever I have had a bad experience at one. Me and My dad were sitting in the Walmart parking lot in traffic trying to get to the Chick-fil-a, (which is literately right next to the Walmart parking lot), I said I might as well order head so I got on my app. I looked for the location that was basically right next to where we were and I double checked the address before I selected it to start the order. The app will not let you select "I'm here", so they can start your order until you are in the parking lot of that location where you ordered or near it. That's how it works. Apparently the employee working at the register that day did not understand this. When we walked in I made my way to the sleeves for their mobile, before I could get to it an employee in an agitated voice said that she could take our order, I politely said no, thank you we had a mobile order, we are just going to wait. Still agitated she asked for my name, I told her and she began to get even more agitated, almost panicking and started to get an attitude. She said my name wasn't in the system and she did not see my order, I tried to explain to her that I was sure I selected the correct location and I wasn’t sure what happened. She proceeded to almost talk down to me and state that I had to have sent it to another location. I tried to explain to her how the app works, and I was positive I had the correct location again, but she defiantly wasn’t having that. She began to talk over me and just kept repeating herself, about it being sent to another location. A manager did finally come over and ask what was going on, I showed the manager the address where I ordered all while the other employee was still saying it was at another location. The manager finally said it was sent to their location and the address was correct, then went to the register and asked if it was under a different name. I said nope it's not. After all that another employee called out my name and I got my order. Honestly all this could have been avoided if there had been some sort of communication between team members. I don’t understand why that certain employee was rude and agitated right out of the gate to me. I really don’t think I would go back to this location, especially if that employee is working. I have way too much anxiety to deal with that sort of ordeal again, hence why I use the mobile app to begin with. This whole incident was unprovoked and uncalled for. I can only hope that this sort of thing doesn’t happen to any...
Read moreWorst service I have ever had. I absolutely LOVE CHIC FIL A so we stopped after a long day at Dollywood. We ordered everything on the ap. The ap instructed us to pull to the drive thru. We did. When we finally got to the window, the snotty little blonde with braids asks us our name when we told her she immediately told me that the order was not ready and we had to go back through the line and check in. I told her that did not seem very proficient and asked why they could just put the order together since we had already waited several minutes in line.
She was very rude and told us to get back into line. Obviously this made us unhappy, but we did since the order was already paid for. We ended up waiting for another 15 minutes. By now my Brother in Law George was in front of us ordering. (We were at Dollywood together and I suggested he come to chic fil a) He pulled out. As we were pulling to the window, George calls me and stated that they had forgotten his daughter's milkshake for his order. He asked if I would grab it. I said yes. I pulled up to the window and re introduced myself. The little blonde was very snotty again. I politely let her know what happed with my brother in laws order. I asked her if I could have the milkshake to take to my niece. SHE REFUSED AND GAVE ME ATTITUDE!!! I Informed her that she was going to now receive 2 bad reviews. She ould have cared less. She was such a snotty little person. Never said my pleasure, never once extended any courtesy and certainly did not smile. We get back to the cabins and low and behold they also forgot an entire meal that we paid for on the ap..
I have eaten at Chic FIL A my entire life. I grew up in the south so I have loved it before it was even popular to love it. I have never even had 1 bad experience UNTIL NOW!!!! MAYBE I WILL STILL EAT AT OTHER LOCATIONS BUT THIS LITTLE GIRL JUST LOST AN ENTIRE WEEKS WORTH OF BUSINESS FOR THIS LOCATION FROM A...
