I had a wonderful experience with Cumberland Diamond Exchange. I had visited a few other jewelers before my brother-in-law recommended CDE to me, and I was blown away by what they had to offer. I walked in and was greeted by Marcus, who answered all my questions and helped me find the perfect diamond for my fiance. He showed me multiple diamonds and was very knowledgeable about each diamond that was shown to me. He recommended a diamond in the first set that was perfect, but I had to be sure He was very patient with me and showed me as many diamonds as I wanted - without being pushy or annoyed, like many other jewelers. I left without the diamond that night, feeling that I needed more time to think about it; but I just couldn't move away from the first diamond Marcus showed me. I came in the next day to purchase the diamond and was introduced to John, as Marcus was busy. Marcus gave John all the details of the diamond, he showed me the day before, and John helped me pick out a band. Unfortunately, they did not have the specific band I was looking for, so John had one made and it looked better than I had imagined. I am thankful for John and Marcus, as they made the entire process so incredibly easy and made recommendations based on the descriptions I presented as a first-time diamond buyer. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to review. 100 out of 5 isn’t even enough. Amy is an absolute All-Star and deserves a big raise (put me down as a reference any day)!

I shopped at several locations, and never visited another twice after coming to CDE. The competitors would’ve had to come in substantially lower for me to consider - that’s the kind of impression that Amy left after visiting for the first time. I felt like I was going through this process with a relative that had no incentive with a sale. No pressure, no shady sales tactics, no pushing. Just wanted to ensure I was happy with my purchase regardless how long it would take, but would also provide honest pushback if I was going down the wrong path. Fortunately, Amy’s an expert and an incredible listener (somehow with my inconsistent answers) and guided us faster than I would’ve anticipated.

It says a lot when competitors ask where you’ve been shopping and everyone’s curious about CDE. Never got asked about another location.They educate you through the process, not figure out easy ways to win business based on the customer potentially being uneducated.

This isn’t an industry known for customers to feel safe and trusting given the magnitude of the purchases, so it’s a big leap to hurdle - I can assure you they’ve pulled it off. I can not see myself shopping...

It's awesome enough to have a jewelry store owned by people you can trust, but if I could give them more than five stars, I would!

Fantastic selection, they do a great job of explaining things to someone who admittedly is not knowledgeable on diamonds and jewelry. They are wonderful at explaining things without making you feel dumb. 😄

They keep up with market trends involving style and what the technology and market says about gold, diamonds, and gemstones. They just get "it."

And if you've never put together a list of things you like, to keep on file so that your significant other or family can check with them over the holidays and special occasions, and know that they might be able to surprise you with a piece you'll love... Well, that's just fun!!

They will also clean jewelry, and help with practical things like watch battery, replacements, jewelry appraisals, and jewelry repair. They specialize in so much, and it's obvious that they have passion in the industry and in making people feel special.

Oh - and back to the "more than five stars" comment...
