I have shopped here multiple times and each time has been pleasant. Except for today. First, I was told that this store was black owned which is why I continued to support them in the first place along with the good customer service. The ladies that I usually see working weren’t here today, it was two Indian(assuming) guys. Fine. I got to cash out and this guy rings my edge control up for 9.99 when the sign clearly stated that it was 2.99. I told the guy that I wasn’t right and he immediately starts telling me I need to read it’s back there I need to read. So he follows me to the aisle and I point out the 2.99 tag along with the STOCKED shelf of the same edge control. He was still trying to argue with me and telling me its not his fault whatever. I told him that they needed to fix it because they could have the same issue multiple times. I guess he didn’t like that and started asking me where do I work lol. So he never removed the $9.99 off of my total, so when I asked if he could remove it he said he did. It was still showing up as if he rung it up. I say again “you didn’t take it off it still says 9.99” he looks at me and says “oh you can read”. Had I not had my child with me I probably would be in jail waiting to make this review. Needless to say I won’t go past other beauty supply stores to come to this one. I purposely go out of my route to come to this store but never again! It was cool while it...

I am so hurt today by visiting this place. This was my second time visiting here. First off I want to say that I am shocked to actually be a victim of racial profiling. My appearance in the store was a satin bonnet because I was planning on washing my hair, that's why I made the visit. While I was trying to figure out all that I needed, it toke me a while to review the products that the store carried. While I was looking in the brush aisle, I noticed a guy come in my aisle, in which I found a little strange because upon going to the other aisle to find conditioner and foam mousse, I noticed another young lady that worked there also followed me in the aisle. I am very observant and already knew what was going on. Both workers did not greet me at all, they seem to be pretending like they were working, but really watching me. In my head, I am like really I cant believe this is actually happening. First off, I work hard for every penny I earn and I would never steal from anyone. I will never give this store my business again. I hope that the owner reads this and understand that you cannot judge a book...

We brought a closure from here where they said it was their best. I made sure to buy the most expensive brand. The closure was horrible. The hair was falling out after one week! The Owner was rude and refuse to return it as it was obivious defective. Don't stop here, they do not provide good customer service.

date: The response from the store is a flat out lie. I spoke with Eric at the time and was told, “This is one of our top brands and the closure should not have done this”. I responded, that is exactly my point.

I had my receipt to prove the short time span and explained the Stylist even remarked it was not good quality. Eric was rude and did not even offer a store credit even though the piece was clearly defective. It was the first and last time we ever brought a closure. The person who responded to this reveiew is flat out lying. They were aware.
