Food good but preparation questionable.

Preparation:

The gentleman that took our order also prepped the food. You are not able to see them make your order (it’s in a walled off area behind the register). I wish you could see them make the order. The guy DID NOT wear gloves & made our order with his bare hands. I know because there is a small opening in the wall that shows a sliver of the prep area. I could easily see that his hands were uncovered. Most of the preparation consisted of taking the food from what appeared to be a refrigerator and putting it in the microwave.

The cobbler itself was pretty tasty I must say.

I hope someone at the restaurant sees this and would encourage employees to make food in a sanitary way. Like I said..I didn’t see his hands physically touch our food but he didn’t have any covering on his hands...

I meant to review this the day I tried it- 2 weeks ago and it's funny because I couldn't stop raving over that Red Velvet & cheesecake banana pudding! Both were VERY SATISFYING to my sweet tooth! I absolutely loved them! And the man - not sure if he was the manager or owner- I think it's Darell ( forgive me if I'm wrong)- But his personality was an absolute plus to the service my girlfriend and I got. I just moved to this neighborhood last month and I am EXTRA GRATEFUL to be living close by but MAN is my bank account in trouble LOL. I have no complaints or criticism of this place whatsoever. It's indeed an excellent addition to this Smyrna - Cumberland area. I hope they have a successful turn out here because it's such a genius idea and wonderful customer service.
