We went here last night for dinner and we're really disappointed with the service. All of the food we ate was good but the timing from the kitchen was horrible. We ordered Pakoras and Chicken 65 for appetizers at the same time. They brought the Pakoras out and then it took them about another 10 minutes after us asking the server about them to bring the Chicken 65. There were 7 of us and 5 of us ordered various Dosas, 1 butter chicken and naan and 1 Szechuan Chicken fried rice. They brought out the first Dosa then 5 minutes later another Dosa. After that it took another 5 minutes between the fried rice, butter chicken, and 1 more Dosa. After that 2 people were still left without their Dosas. It took another 10 minutes for someone to come and check that 2 Dosas were missing and another 5 minutes for the main server to check in on us. When we mentioned that we were disappointed in the timing of the food being brought out the server just started making excuses. She never apologized. By the time the last 2 Dosas were brought out everyone else was either done eating out almost done. I would understand if it took 1-2 minutes in-between each person's food to be brought out. When it takes over 30 minutes between the first person and the last person at the same table to be served food it is unacceptable. It's disappointing that the food was good but the service ruined the whole experience. I usually don't write reviews when I have a bad experience if the business at least apologizes and tries to rectify the issue. In this case there was no apology and only excuses of them only having one Dosa pan and that we waited to order our main entree after we received our appetizers as the reason why all of the main entrees came out so spread out. We ordered all of the main entrees at the same time. If they don't have the equipment to serve food in a timely manner then they should have told us...
Read moreThere was hair in my food, I brought it back to get refund, because I don't want to eat food from an unhygienic place. I had also ordered spinach pakoda and had eaten more than half of it when I found the hair in my dosa. Naturally I didn't feel like eating any of this food anymore.
Firstly, none of them apologized about the hair in the food. Instead of refunding both my items, they just refunded one. Then when I said that I'm going to post Google reviews, and left the restaurant, they CALLED ME on my phone saying if I post reviews, they will post that I had eaten half the food already. Sure, I was eating through the food I paid for. Wow!!!! Honestly if I ate the dosa first and found the hair, I wouldn't even TOUCH the pakodas.
The honest thing for this restaurant to do is to refund the entire food because of hygiene reasons. Instead they treated their regular customer so badly.
Never coming to this restaurant again and advise people not to eat their unhygienic food.
For anyone reading this review (restaurant owners and others) tell me - would you enjoy it if you find a hair in your food? It's one of the most disgusting things. Would you keep eating other dishes from the same restaurant once you find hair in one of the dishes? The answer is NO.
Edit - I have ordered food from your restaurant numerous times in the last few months. So sorry, but you're trying to take advantage, not me!! I came back last night as well. But the restaurant was closed. I picked up food at 10.20ish and then I came back at 10.50 and it was closed. The restaurant according to Google was supposed to be open until 11.30pm. Please don't try to distort the facts!! Be respectful and reasonable to your customers. Look into food safety!!! The hair should not have been there. Instead of trying to scam your customers, try to see how you can improve your...
Read moreI went in this evening with my daughter, hoping to get some tandoori, rice, naan and samosas. From the time I stepped foot in the restaurant, the man at the register was rude and short with me. I asked for samosas, spring rolls, and tandoori..I was told they were out of tandoori chicken. I then asked about naan and if there were any hummus or food I could eat the naan with. He acted as if he didn't understand what I was asking. He simply wasnt helpful at all. I paid $32 for 2 very small mango Lassi drinks, 4 spring rolls, 3 small samosas and garlic naan. I paid before I sat down and was told where my seat was and told to sit in a way that almost prompted me to leave before the food even came out. We weren't given any utensils and the napkins on the table had food on it from whoever sat there before us. When I was ready to go I attempted to get the attention of the person working the front. He never acknowledged me or my daughter who stood at the front of the register to get a to go box. A man came in and 2 Indian men came in after him. No one acknowledged the man that came in first. He stood there while the man at the front carried on in conversation with the two men that came in after the 1st man. I found that to be interesting. When I was walking out the door, without a to go container, the man at the front finally acknowledged me..asking me if I already paid..I paid when I first came in. Needless to say, I won't be back. I was excited to try the food..the staff were not helpful. The man that directed me to sit down was too busy trying to play scratch...
