Family Wings & Philly — Restaurant in Smyrna

I ordered Take Out today with my job (First Time Customer). I ordered Vegetable lo mein and an egg roll. I tried some of the vegetables and did not like it (peas were not done) and my co worker(ordered wings and rice) also stated that she did not like her food either, she had ordered wings. She called ahead of time to let them know that I would be returning with the food. Once I got there I was given a refund for my food, the lady at the counter refunded me for my food, and then when I gave her my coworkers food she stated that she was unable to give her a refund because "she touched it". The manager came from behind the kitchen and stated to me "That's Bull*, if I did not like the food, not to come back!!!"... I asked if they would remake the food for my coworker that was uneaten and the said "No". I then called my coworker to let her know they were unable to compensate her for her meal, and she asked to speak with them. My coworker then called their direct phone and they were cursing at her and told her they would not replace her food. While standing at the counter they bother went back and forth in their language for me not to understand. All while having other customers in the store. I got very upset and advise them that I did not come in their restaurant with an attitude or for freebies I was doing a good deed for my coworker and was only looking for a solution. She explained that she now had to throw the food away. I told her that this was bad customer service. I did not raise my voice or curse. I asked nicely and even offered to pay for another side(trying to defuse the situation) for my coworker if they would remake her uneaten wings. She stated we can only refund $3 dollars, and that she would not remake her food. Seemed no matter how respectful I was being there were not results. This went on my entire lunch break. Would not recommend. 1st time here! Was visiting a friend in the area, looked up this place as the nearest wing place called and placed my order for a 10pc combo. She said because I was new customer they weren’t going to start my order until I got there ok. It was $15 on the phone. When I got there she charged me an extra service charge for using my card. She didn’t say this on the phone. Also after I paid I notice the sign saying no combos come with a drink. Why would you not say that on the phone! Paying $17 almost $20 for just wings and fries is ridiculous. Keep telling me I’m a new customer but not telling anything else until I get there is crazy. Not saying lower your prices but be clear so that I can choose somewhere else to eat. And had the nerve to have the homeless in there eating and having they dirty carts outside but charging $20 for wings and fries...

This place is unprofessional with it's call In's. They say they close at one time but be closed a lot early than the time posted on their site. They hung up in my face multiple times when i was just trying to figure out when they actually close. I will NEVER order from this establishment EVER again. And all of the ppl I sent to this place, those who experienced the same, will leave a review as well. There are better wing spots around this area with better prices and better taste, I promise you that. Their wings are under basic and over priced. Some will stay open to ready your order, not this place. Go...
