Heavenly Ski Run Cottage — Local services in South Lake Tahoe

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE! Unfortunately these were the worst hosts we ever had. I traveled with my parents, my husband and our 5 month old baby. After I booked they charged me a $50 pet fee. We were not traveling with a pet. I got the money back, after I called them but I didn´t even get a "sorry". After we left they charged me $100 damage fee without letting me know. When I called them they told me we broke a lamp (a piece of antler from a small deer on the lamp). I saw that lamp (placed in a corner) when we sat down in the living room. And it was broken from the beginning. It was definitely no one of us. When I tried to explain that the lamp was already a 100% broken when we arrived they came up with that it must have been us because we also moved a bed (we had to move a bed to the wall, so the baby does not fall out of the bed). All in all a really bad experience. I would have definitely paid for stuff that we broke, but taking money from me for no reason is absolutely lousy!! Also the party above us was...

We had rented apartment B. Pros: clean and cute decor, kitchen well equipped, we had cable. CONS: PROPERTY MANAGER WAS NOT NICE AT ALL! VERY DISRESPECTFUL WAS NOT HELPFUL! CLEANING CREW WAS LATE LEAVING SO OUR CHECK IN WAS NOT ON TIME (GOT IN AROUND 4PM). THE WHOLE CABIN NEEDS TO BE MAINTENANCED BECAUSE THE TOILET AND (BATHROOM & KITCHEN) SINK WERE COMPLETELY PLUGGED (WE HAD TO FIX THEM MORE THEN FOUR TIMES). THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! THERE WAS A HEATER & A FIREPLACE WHICH MADE IT SUPER HOT!!! THE WINDOW SCREENS WERE FALLING APART SO BUGS CAME INSIDE.

To everyone who reads this review, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! NOT...

We had unit C you have to climb stairs, we had an elderly senior with limited mobility family member with us, we told Mng. they said we have everything sold out and that they cannot accommodate us, also if your a tall person you have to walk in the middle other wise you keep bumping your head, plus shower design is too tiny and shower head is facing toward you so watch out when turning on water. good luck when...
