Affordable Beach House Vacation Rentals — Local services in South Padre Island

We very much enjoyed our stay at the beach house! Mike greeted us onsite and showed us around. He was professional, courteous and gave us good information about the surrounding area. The location of the house is ABSOLUTELY perfect! The house is just steps away from the beach and has a beautiful private pool. The pool has lots of gorgeous landscaping which provides an oasis of privacy and shade throughout the day. The upstairs balcony outside overlooks the front of the house and wraps around the side, with multiple entry doors into the living room. It was perfect to let the kids play when they were taking a break from the pool! Inside the house was also very nice! The upstairs bedroom was perfect for the kids to hangout, watch tv, relax and have their own space. Even their own bathroom! The two bedrooms on the main floor were nice, however the bedspreads on both beds showed signs of use and looked to need washing. The king bedroom was the perfect size for us but the mattress itself was not very comfortable. The main living, dining and kitchen areas were very nice! The updated kitchen has a beautifully large island, perfect for gathering around! Lastly, just a recommendation for other travelers: definitely make sure to being your own toiletries, as well as paper towels and disposable plates/cups. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes but there are no plastic dishes, only glass. The dishwasher was not working when we were there so we hand washed the dishes however the dish soap provided had a brown tint due to being mixed with different types of soap over time (it still worked tho!). If you will be needing to do laundry make sure to bring your own detergent. Overall we rate the beach house 5 stars! We will definitely rebook and look forward to returning again later...

Extremely satisfied to stumble across this awesome little company. It’s no wonder they were the first recommendation on Google when looking for beach houses on SPI. Management is attentive & responsive. Mike truly cares a great deal for the consumer and displays such hospitality. I could not have felt more at home!! DOG FRIENDLY!!!! The condo was stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, a grill,beach accessories like umbrellas ,chairs, toys for the little ones, and a wagon to haul that stuff out to a pretty close beach access. Nice size patios with plenty of tanning beds.The laundry room is in good working order and the outdoor shower is convenient to wash off sand instead of waiting in line at the beach access. Overall it was a pleasant experience that allowed me to relax & fully enjoy every moment with my family instead of fretting about something I might’ve overlooked. We had an excellent stay! This is a very cute and well located Airbnb. True to the pictures. Pet friendly at a reasonable price which I’ve found is hard to come by elsewhere on the island. Most places want to charge a per night fee instead of a fee for the whole stay. We had three minor issues, the dryer was not working, we briefly lost power during some rain and third, one of the upstairs neighbors had unauthorized guests that parked right behind us causing us to be blocked in. All problems were handled quickly and professionally. My one recommendation would be to upgrade to a bigger flat screen in the living room. We will definitely stay at Mikes place again in the future.
