Isla Bella Salon and Spa — Local services in South Padre Island

I went here for a pedicure, while on vacation. They took me without an appointment. My pedicure was fantastic and the location is beautiful, clean with high ceilings and interesting decor. I was offered a drink (sparkling wine) and everyone was professional and friendly. This was a year or so ago and I thought I took a photo but I can’t find it. It was brand new and everything was white and clean and airy and quiet, which I enjoy places that aren’t playing distracting music or talk radio or just people who talk loudly. So it was very relaxing. The price was a bit more than the usual strip mall prices that I usually go to when I’m in a rush or don’t have an appointment, but not by much, they didn’t try to upsell me on any add-ons and they all spoke English, not that I care about that per se but I didn’t have to guess what they were telling me and nodding to something and communicating...

Such a FABULOUS experience!! The salon is amazing!! I'd gone to Brenda last year (she was at a different location) and today it was GREAT!! The service was outstanding. It started with a very warm and welcome greeting when I first arrived. Then had a pedicure which was wonderful!! Then followed by an amazing nail experience with Isalis (sp?). Her nail work is artistry!! I was fortunate to also meet Nancy ( owner) and Anna who are also very welcoming. This salon is the "diamond " salon on the island . I highly recommend you to ignore any previous bad reviews as in my opinion, I'm sure they were "planted" as this salon is a breath of heaven compared to others . Way to go Brenda!! Im so happy for your new location and very much looking forward to my next...

Called the day before to make appointment for 3 pedicures. Arrived for pedicure appointment, only to have one person stay for the entire time. A second one stayed for a portion, then switched out with a 3rd person who was running late. Overall, it was akwardly quiet. there another two ladies in the background, one appeared to be training. At the end of the appointment I came away with a cut cuticle the lady tried applying pressure to and hiding. I can't list the names of who provided the service, as no one introduced themselves. $170 for all 3 pedicures. I wish we could have experienced one of the many 4 star experiences they have listed on...
