Starbucks - W. Sunset Ave. (Springdale)
I stopped by here for few hours, sipping on my For-Here Mug, Hot Tea, enjoying this beautiful atmosphere. Seating galore - whopping, 56!
Let me first say that this location has great baristas that not only willing to help you with your order, but can spike up a personal conversation with you. It’s a small gesture that speaks volume when you can go to a business and it mean more than just a business transaction. Thank you, Even (Store Manager) and Leslie for a great service!
From the outside, it has a gorgeous entrance with red brick and wooden planks to make it feel like you’re about to enter into something more than just a coffee shop. Once inside, I was impressed.
Space is surprisingly much larger than it looks from the outside. This is definitely a perfect spot for small and large groups. As soon as you come in, to the right you have option for four tables and eight chairs. To the left you have large conference table with eight chairs. Against the windows, additional seating with four chairs.
As you walk towards the Order Counter, to the right you’ll discover large and beautiful old-style map displaying, “The Three Coffee Growing Regions of the World.” Below it a large wooden bench with four tables and four chairs.
By the merchandise shelf, more seating. Four tables and eight chairs. You’d think that’s all they offer for their seating. They also have additional six medal tables and twelve high chairs. The total seating for interior comes to whopping - forty-four seating options.
If you still can’t fit your large group inside, not to worry. They offer even more seating on their patio with, six tables and twelve chairs.
I’m looking forward to returning here. One of the baristas shared with me that, “This location is soon to be remodeled.” Overall, great experience to come and get work done or hangout with your family...
Read moreI have typically had a good experience with this place until recently. There has been two incidents that have happened to leave this review. The Starbucks app was having a promotion with ordering with the app to skip the line and get extra stars. I ordered while sitting in store and stayed to work on some things. I ordered a drink that was refillable, however when I went to refill it the shift lead or manger there asked me where I had gotten the drink. Like if I had bought it left and come back earlier to refill it, i know the policy is that as long as you don’t leave the store you can get it refilled. I explained to her that I order it through the mobile app and then still she was hesitant to refill it.
The other issue was the rudeness of a manager I’m guessing, I had children with me towards closing time and out of nowhere this person bust out the door and drops an F bomb. This associate continued to clean up rudely by making loud unnecessary noises (shoving chairs back into place) and is holding a conversation with another associate and still continues to use curse words. I understand (and have worked in customer service in my younger years ) that having customers stay until closing time is the worst. However I was not nearly close to closing time, still had a good 30-45 mins left. Language unprofessional and unnecessary. Left irritated and annoyed...
Read moreOut of the tens of Starbucks I visit a year, this location is my favorite. It is my second home if you will. The drinks at this location are far superior tasting to any of the others as well. Don't go to B&N or Target; they are terrible, and I believe B&N is a license to sell the brand only. I could write horrible reviews about all of the other locations in town based on my own personal experience, but I would rather put that energy into complimenting a team that has gone out of their way (even the new team members) to get to know me as a customer; even when my drink is very specific due to dietary restrictions (and they still knock it out of the park). The store is consistently busy, if not packed, and they still get drinks out quickly. I have seen the turnover on the team over the last year or so, and maybe those that are having a bad experience are either having a bad day themselves and taking it out on this team, or maybe you got a new barista who is still learning (did you know 100% of your job when you first started?). No, I do not work here, and no I have never worked at a Starbucks. I just really appreciate a team who goes out of their way to brighten my mornings before...
