Batteries Plus Phone Repair — Local services in St. Matthews

I brought my iPhone 6S plus here to have the screen replaced. When I picked my phone up they said that with the new screen I lost my itouch capability and they were sorry they didn’t tell me that before I had them repair it. While that was an inconvenience, I decided to just adapt to the new screen. I left the store and 5 minutes later they called me to say “we may have put a faulty screen on your phone”. They were right, because I no longer had keyboard functionality, I couldn’t open apps or emails, etc. I took it back to have them put another screen on, and after another hour waiting I had another new screen. I left the store and within 10 minutes I noticed that the home button wasn’t working properly, and my keyboard had a mind of its own. I brought it back for the third time that day and asked them to put my old, cracked screen back on so I could take it somewhere else to have it repaired. They refunded my money and the manager apologized, but the employee who originally helped me was rude and unapologetic about the ordeal. I don’t know if the error lies with the employee who worked on my phone or the supplier of their after market phone screens. Either way, I lost a day of work and a client because of this ordeal and I will never have anything repaired...

The staff seemed knowledgeable and very friendly. My s7 Edge battery was damaged (began expanding), and as a result the back panel of the phone was coming off, the battery life became terrible, and the OS and apps were running very slowly.

I was able to schedule an appointment, the repair took 1 1/2 hours (due to how difficult it is to open the new Galaxy phones), and the price was very reasonable. It's only been 2 days since the repair, but my phone casing is now intact, it's running smoothlyoverall, and the battery life actually seems better than when I originally bought the phone on its release date.

Given my experience, I would highly recommend this...

Service was pretty quick, however after almost $200 being spent on replacement screen, and the purchase of a screen protector with replacement warranty I’d expect that my phone would work correctly! However, once I leave the store my screen has begun to have a mind of it’s own! Calling tomorrow and see if they are willing to make this right, phone worked better prior to having the screen replaced with cracks all...
