We were referred to Mike at Alley Cats & Pack Rats by one of the dominate estate sale operators in the twin cities that was too busy to meet our timeline. At our first meeting, Mike was obviously a high energy sort of guy, but also attentive, and a good listener. He wanted to know our needs, our goals, and our concerns, and then addressed them one by one. My husband's brother had recently moved to assisted living and we needed to liquidate all his belongings, as well as those of his previously deceased wife. After looking over all the property to be sold, Mike offered to handle the sale in it's entirety. His terms were fair and competitive, and included removing and donating or disposing of any and all property that did not sell. We scheduled the sale for the following month. True to his word, Mike and his crew transformed the 2,800 sq ft townhome into an amazing emporium of displays that really showcased the offerings - including furniture and accessories, fine china, silverware, crystal, a bronze sculpture, a signed watercolor, appliances, clothes, Bosch power tools, more than 800 pieces of jewelry - even a Chevrolet Avalanche! Start to finish, Mike and his crew - and especially Neil, were great to work with and never failed to deliver whatever they promised. I whole heartedly recommend Alley Cats...

Went to an estate sale they hosted on Sept 12 - was complete unorganized chaos. When they exchanged pre-numbers a half hour before opening they were missing a bunch of numbers in their own set of poker chips which should have led to more confusion, but none of this mattered because the gentleman who opened the sale and began collecting numbers didn't even look at the chips or, crucially, ANNOUNCE THE NUMBERS to the crowd of 50+ people who were trying to figure out when it was their turn to enter. Instead, people just handed their chip to him which led to a mad rush to enter since it was apparent to everyone that your number didn't matter. I saw the one item I was interested in was so astronomically overpriced that I left without buying anything, but not before I overheard the owner yelling at someone for running and threatening "you'll be thrown out".
