We recently had our wedding at the JX Event Venue and couldn’t have been happier. This place is a hidden gem. Being in quaint downtown Stillwater made us feel like we had a destination wedding. JX was the first place we looked at and we fell in love. Every place that we looked at after didn’t compare. The space is absolutely gorgeous. The combination of rustic and modern allows you to transform the space to express your style. They have cool furniture and unique walls to take awesome wedding photos. We had our ceremony and reception there. It was wonderful to have everything in one place. Our wedding was in January and our guests were so appreciative that they didn’t have to travel. The transition between ceremony and reception was seamless. The photo both at JX was an awesome addition. Our guest had so much fun with it. We had a blast looking at pictures after the wedding. A photo booth wasn’t even something on our list of things. The fact that it is just a part of JX makes it such a cool added bonus. Another bonus to JX is their bar. Not only is it beautiful, it is huge!! They were generously staffed for the wedding and our guests didn’t have to wait for a drink. The best part of having our wedding at JX wasn’t even the beautiful building, it was their staff. We worked with Annie quite a bit throughout the planning. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was phenomenal. She is so professional, yet fun to work with. She cares about every little detail and is able to execute them with perfection. Her communication is excellent. She responded to every email quickly and accommodated every request. The day of Annie was great. My friends and family commented on how nice she was to work with. I can honesty say that everything the day of went perfect and I contribute that to Annie. If something did go wrong, we didn’t know about it…. Annie just took care of it. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, we were able to just enjoy the day! We worked with Emily on our bar needs. She was just as wonderful. We kept changing our mind on what to order for drinks and Emily was great about it every step of the way. We even ran out of beer and had to buy more kegs on the fly. Emily was so cool about it, she had one waiting and ready to go. The bar staff the night of the wedding was so fun. They had a blast with our guest and were truly having a good time. We had so many guest come up to us and say how fun the staff was at JX. It was really great that owner Judd even came in at the end to check things out. There are not enough WONDERFUL things to say about JX Event Venue. Beauty, joy, professionalism, personalization, cheer, teamwork, genuine care, fun, life changing are all the words that come to mind as I think back on our time working with JX, from our first visit to cleanup hour after the wedding was complete.

It was the warm and and embracing yet breathtaking feeling we got on our walk up the stairs that first caught our attention at JX. With the freedom to explore the space and get creative in our first meeting, my husband and I could finally (after viewing many venues) envision our wedding and see ourselves at the alter. It was then the absolute family care felt by the JX staff that clinched the deal. Taking time to walk though 365 days of options while listening to every desire and idea and genuine assurance that we would get everything we envisioned made us feel so comfortable and incredibly confident in booking JX as our venue (for ceremony and reception)!

We ended up having to plan our wedding from out of state and the JX staff helped with every little detail and question along the way. As the wedding approached, the staff was so flexible with everything we needed from helping us with an informal walk through to extra time to set up (that made the WORLD of a difference come wedding day).

The event lead (Taylor) and bar/event lead (Emily) made sure everything looked even better than I could have envisioned it myself. They took in every personalized detail and helped my family execute it in the best way that fit the venue. They helped design our alter space that still makes my heart jump as I think of walking though the candle glow to my groom surrounded by beautiful pine and a strong wooded cross. It was perfect. We truly came to LOVE the staff and they were a HUGE part of our wedding that I will always be thankful for.

The ongoing support throughout the wedding night, in set up and clean up was unparalleled. The dance floor was the absolute best vessel for a thriving party that lasted far past last call!!! Our guests were (and STILL are!) raving about our venue and how personal and elegant it and incredibly FUN was. Many comments that one was he best wedding ever!!!!

Top Notch Venue and Employees!! I HIGHLY recommend anyone to plan their events at JX Event Center! Having my wedding at JX was the best decision my husband and I ever made!! Every person we interacted with at JX exceeded our expectations! They were all so kind, considerate, professional and very well organized!! Huge shout out to Emily!! Emily was so incredibly patient and kind whenever I would contact her with questions especially as our wedding at JX had to be postponed until 2021. Emily was quick to help us find a new date that worked for us and walked us through every step with clear, thoughtful communication!!! She made us feel at ease throughout the whole planning process! I could go on and on as we were so impressed with how perfectly and smoothly everything came together! All of our guests were incredibly impressed with JX as well!
